MTT Assay

PLEASE READ This was for anassignment that I honestly forgot to unlist. I'm not pursuing a degree in biology anymore, so all the lab work I did and the information I had were thrown out. This was from awhile back, so I can't answer any questions with 100% certainty. The x amount of units used in any part of the video were either from our calculations, OR were given to us. Most likely if you were to do this experiment, your values will be different dependent on your calculations. Good luck to everyone doing MTT Assay experiment!

wait, when she says to leave 2 columns for positive and negative controls, does she mean rows? cause for that she pipetted onto 2 consecutive wells, from left to right

Thanks for sharing this. I'm new to the field, and this cleared a good deal of fog off my mind!
I was wondering though, would your procedure be the same for both adherent and non-adherent cell types?
I've seen videos (and read articles) that remove the test solutions and wash the plate with culture media before adding MTT. Thought maybe it has something to do with the kind of cells..

MTT is light sensitive
