The Glen Prickett Award Church Presentation, 2018

Claire Fisk and Colm Thornton were the 2018 recipients of the Glen Prickett award.
“Grandpa” Glen Prickett used to work with our teens throughout the YITC week and into the summer at other projects. Glen was not a showy man who publicized his talents or advertised his accomplishments. Instead, he happily, quietly worked behind-the-scenes teaching those around him how to do a job, how to use a tool, how to complete a task. His example of persistent service is highly valued though the Lord has taken him home to Heaven now.
The teen girl and teen boy who most closely follows that example consistently throughout the year leading up to YITC, as well as during the week itself (during both work and play), is publicly commended by our congregation. We pray that this encourages them to stay-the-course of Christ-like service and love, as Glen did.
