    What I love about all your instructional videos is they make me look at texture very differently. When I look at your finished pieces I notice the texture but it blends so well it is not obvious that there are so many different textures and shades. You have a truly unique style. I don't want mine to look like yours, but I learn not to be afraid of texture that isn't perfectly realistic. I've had these brushes for a while but now want to try them in different ways. Thank you.

      That makes me super happy reading your comment Susan!! I'm so glad you're inspired to explore texture in different ways - for me it's like playing with art supplies and watching interesting results emerge. Hope you you have fun using the brushes to create new and interesting textures!

    I love your voice!
    I get to imagine you drawing a picture while having a nice cup of tea.
    You are probably one of the most organised artists on TH-cam.
    People have so much more to learn from you.
    I hope you're well and doing great.
    Keep making the videos please

      @@Lisaglanz Hi, quick question about the Patterns - Lines brush in the Instant Artist pack. Somehow my lines are going horizontal instead of vertical. I am not sure how to change their orientation. Can you help? Thank you!

      @@JanineKearns Hi Janine, my slip up! I should have mentioned that in the description of the video - I'll add that shortly. To change the scale of a pattern brush and the direction is super easy (and fun to change depending on your project), you can find a quick tutorial on how to do that here: th-cam.com/video/xEcheU-EVDY/w-d-xo.html

    Hi, just found your channel and love the style and textured brushes. Thanks for the video. However, I was unsure where you were painting or drawing at times as some details are fine. Could you point to the areas you are working on before painting so we know where to look? Thanks!

      Thank you so much for your feedback, it's much appreciated! I completely understand what you mean! The great news is I've managed to finally set-up an overhead recording rig which means you will now see my hand in the shot too which will make it much easier for you to follow along with the lesson. 😊

    Hello! Huge fan here! You are my muse and I hope so be nearly half as amazing as you are one day. I do have a question though. For your Plush brush kit, In the video you had drawn a witch. I am in love with it for some reason and I was wondering if you can release an instructional video on that as well as maybe some other Halloween themed characters and sceneries? I'm BEGGING you. Hope to hear from you!

    thanks again for an excellent lesson. I have a question. how can I change the pattern brush direction? I found that my (pattern brush -Lines) is horizontal not vertical. I rotated the canvas in order to draw the white vertical lines hehehe

    • @Lisaglanz
      @Lisaglanz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a great pleasure! You can change the direction of any of the pattern brushes, here's a quick tutorial on how to do that (you can go to about 1:40 to see me changing the direction): th-cam.com/video/xEcheU-EVDY/w-d-xo.html. Hope that helps!

    @ Lisa Glanz I have a few of your brush sets for procreate but would you make some for photoshop? as I work between the two

    • @Lisaglanz
      @Lisaglanz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for your support, it's much appreciated! I would love to convert then but unfortunately the brush engine in Procreate is quite different and a lot more sophisticated (in my opinion) than Adobe Photoshop so I can't get the same results as the Procreate brushes.

    This was interesting and very true, although I would take care not to kill your creativity with 100% biz related tasks. Recently I have allocated half and hour to "creative browsing" (like taking the time to read a fun and interesting This and That email!)
