Part of it is still a waltz. Up until the second half with the guitar (that part isn't a waltz as it's in 4/4 time), the song is in 3/4 time and follows a "low-high-high" pattern. It just isn't a very easy waltz to dance to.

The slower parts indeed does add more meat to the track. It builds up a bit of tension and then crashes it all down in a majestic way. The best example of this is about halfway into the track, where it's just a piano and cello and then an entire orchestra suddenly comes in to deliver a "shock and awe" tune.

I just imagined one of the most horrifying things the army could produce.
It's a hybrid between the F22 and the A10 Worthog.
I call it the A-12 Boltcaster.
The maneuverability and speed of the F22 and the armor and signature weapon of the A10.
No need for missiles or bombs.
Just increased ammunition stores, and high octane death.

When you are in your F-5C, fully loaded with bombs, almost to the base, but then swarm of F-4S dive onto that base and you still want this base

I don't know man, its decent but it doesn't have the same feeling of the original soundtrack. I think the slow parts add more of a story to the music. Don't get me wrong I myself love these parts, but it sounds incomplete.
