    You have a good long growing season for potatoes! Good job.

    You've done well with those potatoes. I'm definitely going to give the container growing a go.

    I like how you tagged the buckets with what's in them and putting the date on!! :-)!!

    Hi guys, a decent reveal from those 3 buckets... I have just lifted some Charlottes that have been in the ground 20 weeks. Still undecided if I should grow in tubs next year....you may have just convinced me!
    Cheers......Nigel

      Thanks Nigel, we did both this year, we put some in the ground and some in pots. The ones in the ground are being munched by wireworms, so perhaps next year it may be just containers. Hope you're well mate.

    I know this is old, I'm researching everything veg garden ready to start my first veg plot next year, I'm glad you used chicken manure as I've always been of the understanding that it was top fertiliser, however it is aimed at leaf growth and not tuber Size, I would imagine you had fantastic groath above ground and small potatoes under ground, please believe me I'm not being disrespectful, I've yet to even try and produce veg, it's just a point I came across during research 😉

      Thank you, Me too, I am going to let them grow for as long as I possibly can. I may even give them a feed.

    Most of the soggy or dark colored potatoes are the seed potatoes

    The small ones are nice for potato salads. You only have to half them or maybe leave them whole.
    Here's some recipes for potato salads:

      I just rub then in olive oil and season and roast them or air fry them.

    I've just recently come across the "potato reveal" video genre, surprisingly satisfying to watch. I'll go look in your other videos, but how many seed potatoes per bucket?

    • @wmluna381
      @wmluna381 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      He says 1 seed potato per 10 liters in the video. So 3.

    How do you know when they are ready to harvest? Is it when the greens start to die back? Thanks!
