That's awesome! Congrats on the placement! That's the one thing I have to give to MD. It is great at visually letting you know what you can, and cannot do.
That is a lot of board breakers! 😅 Good to see newer people join the TCG. We always have a lot of doomers saying the game is dying, so new people popping in is a welcome sight. Don't let the silent types discourage you, some people think everyone knows every card, just ask them to explain their cards and if you feel like they are doing something they can't do, just call a judge and fairly explain the situation.
Congrats on getting that 2nd place locals with your favorite deck! Keep at it and I'm sure you'll be landing that 1st place in no time! The guy with the Runick deck sounded like a whiney rule shark! It doesn't matter how experienced some guy is with Regionals or whatever because even YCS champions have made mistakes and misplays! I'm sad to say that even grown ass men at Regionals and YCS events I've seen get overly upset playing this game like you murdered their family member or something LOL. Don't let that intimidate or cause you to not want to make a scene! DO NOT TOLERATE THAT BEHAVIOR! Always call a judge if someone is going to behave like a spoiled emotional child! Although granted, even Judges can be wrong too you can always appeal a decision as well and ask for the Head Judge for the final word etc. Hell, my first regional I went to, I lost because a Judge miscalled the game win. This was way way back during the Yata Lock Chaos days LOL (my yugi boomer is showing I know). Basically I won the first game and Yata-locked the guy but he still had like 7000 LPs or something and he knew he was locked so he just scooped. The second game he pulled a win. And game three we ran out of time so we had to call the match based off life points. The judge asked who had the overall higher life points from all 3 games and I said that the first game ended with the guy having like 7000 LPs remaining when he surrendered so I'm not sure if that affected the overall LPs. The judge said that it did and gave me the loss (she was a noob judge and didn't really understand the game clearly). Funniest thing is she was one of the judges that was from my local shop even LOL. When I got back to my locals I talked about it to my friends there and they were surprised I didn't top because I was the best players at our locals winning 90% of the time. It didn't occur to me back then, but they brought it to my attention that whenever someone "forfeits/scoops/surrenders/etc." their LPs automatically go to ZERO! So basically, I never should of lost that game and the judge was wrong! I think they felt more robbed by the loss than I did, because I lost to a technicality and not because I played bad LOL. Live and learn.
I took MatchieYGO ideas and mixed it with Galzo’s branded deck ideas where he uses shad-doll fusion in the his side decking idea but I main deck it. Magicalized fusion is awesome and it also works with being out Shaddoll winda to lock them after you clear the field.
Also with red-eyes insight and shaddoll fusion you will be able to activate magicalized fusion. Shaddoll dumps DM than insight dumps REBD than magicalize fusion
Great build bro. I'm testing a profile with classic Dark Magician cards like souls, circle, servant, illusion, eternal soul and Ref with book of eclipse, evenly match, ash and impermanence. And it's great. I will play it at Bilbao Regional of the 4 of January.
@@simoes7512 good luck at your regional, please let me know how you do!! I’m gonna make another deck soon closer to yours now that I’m a little better at the game lol
1:43 Nah if my opponent doesn't tell me what's going on and everything and gets emotional when I call them out I'm absolutely calling a judge! But anyways congrats 🧙♂️
@@DarkMagicianTactics for future times, always call a judge if someone does that to you again regardless of who they are. The most important thing in a tournament setting is when you can and can't respond to their plays, and the only way to do that is if they tell you what they're doing and whatnot.
Good job on second place fellow dark magician enjoyer ^^ I had a similar encounter where the guy would silently point and play, being cocky and stuff.... and let me tell you some people really are not playing yugioh for the FUN of it ! lol anyways just wanted to share you are not the only one who it happens to, keep up the good work !
Heck ya! Get it! DM best deck 💪🏽🧙🏽♂️
