Seacrest is deeply committed to the preservation of America’s wild heritage and our planet through profound educational programs. The rare opportunity that Seacrest offers is an amazing hands-on learning opportunity, based on science, with the Seacrest Wolf Ambassadors and small animals. Visitors come from all over the world to experience this once in a lifetime educational opportunity that touches human hearts and builds bridges of greater understand and respect to the natural world and the wild species that call it home. Through these meaningful educational tours, Seacrest creates awareness of the importance of wolves, their role as a keystone species, their contributions to the natural ecosystems, and dispelling the myths that have been associated with these vital carnivores for far too long.
We are in desperate need of funds to permanently repair the catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Michael last fall, both for the safety of our animals and to allow us to refocus on our mission to educate the public on wolves as a keystone species. Without continued donations towards these repairs, Seacrest’s urgent conservation message will become disempowered to raise world-wide awareness for the preservation of these critical wild species, upon whom natural ecosystems depend for balance and survival. If we win, we will use the fund towards these much needed repairs, as well as creating new, weather proof educational displays to further our mission of preservation through education.
Came here years ago on with my sister and brother in law. It was one of the coolest things to have a private experience with wolves, as well as the foxes being extremely funny and playful. I would definitely come back, and hoping I get into FSU so I could do so more conveniently
