I'd recommend Painting it Gloss Black! I have a 2018 IS but i got the rear diffuser painted professionally and looks much better than the matte black it comes with, pretty much like the 2021+ IS come with gloss black rears 👌🏼
Or I can also wrap it! But we shall see lol. I know the 21+ come in gloss black so wished our version did
@@Und3rgroundLex definitely! I went with paint to make it more like OEM, definitely more pricey but worth it 🤣, exactly! Exactly why i got mine diffuser painted professionally to match the 21+!

Yep. Did this swap years ago and immediately got rid of the crappy oem tips. As soon as the 17 came out, I jumped on it. Night and day difference such a simple swap made. Well, to me, that is.

How did you guys wire and connect the brake lights to work? I have the same Tansowerkz tail light installed but just not sure how all of the wirings work

If it helps, I have the RSR Superdown springs (I’m RWD) and I’ve never had the type of issues explained in the video. 🙂
Yeah I think it’s only with AWD where there is uneven weight

sup man! love the videos as always. so i had a question that you might know the answer to. i have a third light on a new diffuser and wanted to wire it to my tansowerkz light. it says to tap into the green/white brake wire and ground wire. i know ground is black. but, now that i have the tansowerkz light, i'm not positive what the green/white wire is now. do you know? i haven't even had a chance to check what color wires there are yet. hoping you know off the top of your head. thanks!

@@jasonko3440 i haven't wired it, but i found out that for Tansowerkz, the White is Daytime running, Black is ground, Blue reverse, red brake, yellow is turn signal.

@@jasonko3440 the ground wire. when you wire electrical components there's a "ground" wire.

Nope no gaps at all.

i got a question, do the 4is tail light conversions always have that gap between the middle bar and right/left side tails? i’m gonna install mine soon, but i hope they look more symmetrical
