This is a very risky and dangerous strategy. Price can move violently both ways stopping you out on both positions. Not to mention the slippage you would get on market orders during this. Honestly you were very lucky to have come out ahead using this method. I dont recommend anyone following this.

Since when was a buy limit at the top and sell limit at the bottom? 🤦🏽♂️ You would have to put a buy stop if it was going to continue up.
Be careful. I got on the wrong side of a news event once before I even knew about news events, the price ran my stop and took me out a huge loss. (When your stop gets run the broker gets you out at the next opportunity. That's when the candle slows down enough for your order to execute. Just be careful.
