Serious playing! I'm a metal head guy. Was asked to learn this to play at a party and I said sure why not, Something a bit different, but my god am I struggling with the thumb speed haha. Im used to playing fast but this is a whole different ball game haha

Thanks man. Killer tutorial. It's that right hand clutch technique that he uses that I need to work on. How he switches from fingers to pick to get that attack. I need to go to school.

la première fois j'avais trouvé la reprise Franchement génial et là je trouve ça Franchement génial tout pareil . J'écoute Brian Setzer depuis peut être 40 ans et , comme pour Marcel Dadi, à la première écoute j'avais pris une grosse claque. Même si je ne suis qu'un petit guitariste amateur, je ne pense pas me tromper en disant que tu as énormément de talent. Encore MERCI et BRAVO

Scotty was the original... still my favourite (got my ES295 because of him) and was lucky enough to see him play a couple of times... but I think even Scotty would have said that Setzer was his equal if not more. And Setzer does it whilst running around the stage and singing! Think we can agree two geniuses.

Brilliant mate... I've slowed it down and watched fingers... on the E chord it's tabbed as a hammer-on 1 & 2 of G and D strings but it LOOKS as if it's only the 1 on G? Not that it matters as I'll never be able to play it. I've always struggled with any version of this... my E pattern always sounds back to front if that makes sense.

Enorme boulot ... ca fait un an que je me prends la tête sur ta vidéo de Blue moon of Kentucky et là je le bossais un peu et par curiosité j'ai cliqué pour voir si t'avais remis d'autres vidéo (on sait jamais) ... Ben j'ai bien fait ... Alors j'ai deux versions en partoche de Mystery Train de Brian Stezer, avec celle-là ca fait trois ... C'est plus ou moins la version qu'il joue sur une vidéo "rare" qu'on trouve sur YT ?

Alors pour la peine je voudrais savoir si tu pourrais m'aider dans la mesure de tes possibilités. Tu connais sans aucun doute les deux moceaux "Mr Surfer goes Jazzin " plutôt rock et "Mr. Jazzer Goes Surfin" plutôt jazz. Et donc je voudrais savoir si tu as quelques chose comme une partition ou une grille d'accords pour "Mr Jazzer goes Surfin"" (donc le morceau jazz). J'ai essayé de faire une relevé mais je suis pas un spécialiste et c'est pas évident. Que tu puisses m'aider ou pas, j'ai si ça t'interresse quelques partoches en fichiers PDF plutôt intéressante sur Brian Setzer que je peux t'envoyer sans problèmes ...

Hey sur ! J'ai vraiment envie de faire une vidéo sur "Mr Surfer goes Jazzin", c'est truffé de supers riffs jazz et rockabilly... Mais ça prend du temps à faire :) pour faire court c'est une grille de blues en Mi (I7 - IV7 - V7) vers 2:30 (partie surf) la grille devient mineur ;). Pour le riff d'intro c'est uniquement en accords de quartes ... Genre corde de mi = 12 si = 12 sol : 11 ré = 11 . l'intro utilise ce voicing en case 12 , 10 , 7 , 6 , 5 , 3 et 0 ... th-cam.com/video/uZyFOsIV9rw/w-d-xo.html regarde à 0:23, c'est ce genre de riff (bon la c'est une autre tonalité, mais même principe...)
