8:59 The concert hall is the Elbphilarmonie Hamburg. (In the north of Germany). It cost 866 million euros and was realised with the latest acoustic technology. The large hall was designed so that every seat perceives the same acoustics. This is supported by the wall panels and the seats, which were specially made for this purpose. There is also the largest escalator in Germany. In reality, however, the building cannot be opened, as it looks in Miniatur Wunderland. The MW Hamburg now offers much more. In the meantime, an extension on the other side had to be connected with a bridge. Gerrit Braun, one of the two founders (both are brothers), is currently working on the realisation of the Formula 1 track in Monaco.
I've been there twice already since I live near Hamburg. It's so amazing. It was founded by two brothers who just wanted to build a large model railway. It's now gigantic. They develop their own technologies, constantly come up with new crazy ideas. And they have an enthusiastic team that realizes everything with a lot of passion. By the way, Asia has already been announced.
Yes, it's great. They are just building south Anerica - Rio is already done and they are building the rain forest and Patagonia - with the help from some locals over there to get the feeling right and they oprned Monaco with a real Formula 1 race (like, with cars that really oertake and fight for the first place) after working on this project for 11 years. And by the way: since they had almost no room in their building they had to build a real bridge over a channel in Hamburg to get the space for south america, and I think asia will be there soon, too. The opening building in the second clip is the Eldphilarmonie, a new concert building in Hamburg just around the corner from them. It took ages to build the real one, so they had their modell ready before the real deal 🙂 The moving musicans in the building are scultured after the real musicans that gave the first opening concert in real world. There a some concerts in this world. One when he talked about cars parked on the street. It's the oldest one, it is an open air concert from DJ Bobo (a swiss singer) with a great lightshow. The second in the stadium is Helene Fischer, a german singer (some love her, some not 😛). You can buy a real seat in this stadium. They place a figure for you on this seat and the money goes to charity.
Hi Max and Sujy If you two really plan to visit Miniatur Wunderland, one thing in advance: one day is far from enough for you!... Plan two days as an absolute minimum, and even then it will be very tight. There is so much to discover and marvel at, one day is simply not enough. Many greetings from Germany The lady
It's been a while that i was there but slowly walking through it, i think it takes about one or 2 hours, but really seeing everything it takes years. there are so many easter eggs and hidden gems everywhere, some you can only see when you do a guided tour. They even have Miniatur Wunderland inside the Miniatur Wunderland.
Miniatur Wunderland is crazy. I go there everytime i am in Hamburg. one whole day is not enough to see it all. and they are constantly open new sections. Argentinia with Patagonia is the newest i think. there are so many details and 100+ stories hidden in every section. and the scale is 1:87 (H0). so a 1,80m real person is maximal 20mm in model. it is insanely small. But the place is insanly big located in the Speicherstadt Hamburg where in the old days shipping companies store their goods from all over the world (tea, coffee etc.)
It's all in HO scale (1:87). Most trains are from Märklin, where I worked at the logistic centre...🤓 We once went there in 2019. as a company excursion..👍🤘 It's actually the 2 brown buildings connected through a bridge and the whole complex surrounded by water -which you saw in miniature at the beginning of James Bray's video...🤓
The concert hall which opens is the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. Used for all kinds of concerts. Here is something classical, 1st Symphony by Johannes Brahms (fits as he was born in Hamburg). th-cam.com/video/YfIjJpAElEs/w-d-xo.html
The TH-camr "James Bray" was recently (once again) in Germany and visited the "Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg". Take a look at his video! Edit: Oh you found it...
The Zebra in the prison. The police - while after the escapees - arrested all running around in prison clothing (white and black stripes). Bad luck for the poor Zebra.
Hello you two Dears, I have been there and will be in September again. Today it is in TWO houses connected by a glass bridge. In the first building you see mostly Europe on 3 floors and in the other building over the canal they started South America and will be also 3 floors. The guys who invented and founded this gem ARE socialistic. There is no BOSS, they are like a family of around 400 employees. Kindergartens can visit for free and once a year every person who says "I can not afford this" goes in for free. The gather money for charity works. MAX visit a dentist!!! That is an order😁🤣😇 SUJY, you take care of this guy. Try to visit us here in Germany. Elmar from Germany

I was there for one day and we went out after a half day and we all found we've seen all.
It's been a while that i was there but slowly walking through it, i think it takes about one or 2 hours, but really seeing everything it takes years. there are so many easter eggs and hidden gems everywhere, some you can only see when you do a guided tour. What was playing when the Elbphilharmonie opened was Sergei Prokofiev - Peter and the wolf.

To day it is Germany's most visited attraction.

Most of the technology is busy with rolling the traffic. All the trains and then the trucks, ships, planes, coordinating all that is super complex
