I just got a yorkie about 6 days ago and she just turned 10 weeks old this week and I really want to train her cause she is starting to get comfortable with me and my family so this helps me out some but I will work on it(She is behide on being trained)love the video💖

Awesome videos! Can you please do one on how to train your dog to “stay”?
My yorkie has now just become 8 months. Last montg or so nothing new has been taught to her. Sit, down, stay, figure 8, weaving, pray, paw, high five were taught within 6 weeks of having her at 9 weeks. . Rollover took sometime, as she did notbhave much fats andcdid nit wish to do it. But she got to do that with a lot of patience, now does both ways. The breeder had told me she is most intelligent out if her all siblings and very foodie, so teain8bg her has been a breeze. She gets bored easily, so she likes to be trained. She will not fetch things for me. Like toys or rope or anything. She feels they are hers. Stay can be taught gradually. At 9 weeks, it was difficult ar first. Once she learnt to sit by giving treats, next stage was to delay giving her treat, but showing to her. If she jumped for it or came near to grab it, she did not get it. If she sat for a while, just counting 2 or 3, if she sits and waits for it, she gets the treat. This is trial and error, wait time increases gradually, then use the word stay. I move away and asked her to stay, if she stays she gets a treat. If I take a long time, like go in the kitchen, where she can't see me, then i show her hiw happy I am with her, by saying with feeling, 'good girl' and giving her a few treats. Now she knows if i am in the kitchen, she stays in her place, she will get some treats. She knows how to earn hetreats,. So just enforcing good behaviour. For me potty training was hard. We could not take her out for about 6 weeks after bringing her home , so spread out potty pads She learnt to do in potty pads, but she could not understand doing it outside in the garden or on walks. That took a while. She got titally confused and some accidents in the house on floor boards. She was almost 7 months when she got it right. Now for over a month, no accidents in the house. She goes on potty pads or when we take her out in the garden. She is so lovable. If your dogs like treats, it isceasy ti teach a lot of tricks but there are some things she will not always do. Fetch depends in her mood, even offer of treats does not help. She is kind of telling me that she cannot fetch as her mouth is for her treats. She cannit have her toy and a treat both, so she will have tge treat without bringing her toy to me.
