It was surprisingly cathartic to see a respectful Bi-Han.
Bi-Han can show respect, but he doesn’t fear anyone and what he doesn’t speak in words he does in battle. Even tho in this time line he was mad at his grandmaster for being “weak” and not taking the Lin Kuei to higher levels, we can asume he always did what he was ordered to. Also, he always showed respect to Liu Kang since the very beginning of the game.

@@iancuspinera1160 I was kind of hoping that Bi-Han’s fall from grace would be more of “trying to become covertly powerful/rich as a side gig” distraction, not the “totally outright betray Liu Kang and Earthrealm to side with Shang Tsung” farce that we ended up getting. But, I suppose Netherrealm Studios’ take on morality is more black and white than I imagined.
I was really hoping Bi Han in this timeline was an anti villain at most, make the Lin Kuei as a clan that's basically like Punisher while the Shirai Ryu are the mediators if they step out of line too much@@topnotchshinobi

Seeing Shang actually being respectful to Liu Kang is such a nice thing to witness.
A while back I was thinking about a discussion between Solf J. Kimblee and Alphonse Elric who discussed about possibilities during certain situations.
Kimblee started to mention how there was only 2 choices, to which Alphonse retorted with a third answer where he could achieve both results at once. Surprised, Kimblee then brought up a fourth answer which resulted in succeeding in neither choices and ultimately fail.
I thought about it in the Kontext of MK and thought: what if there was an universe without Shang Tsung or Liu Kang ruling over the realms in the end of MK11? Or what if there was a world where Liu Kang and Shang Tsung ruled equally? Shang Tsung could've grown tired of his old shit and have an epiphany and a newfound respect in Liu Kang?

I don't know how to explain it but there's something actually awesome about seeing Liu Kang alongside Shao Kahn, that's something I really wanted to see more of in the series.
Liu Kang and Shang Tsung having a moment of genuine compliments is hilarious. On an aside, just imagine the look on Bi-Han's face (or likewise any of the naughty chaps) if that Titan counterpart shows up on his doorstep and describes the ass-whopping he's about to receive for laying hands on a brother.
They weren't all Titans, but it's fun to think about.

I like how NetherRealm really went ham into this final part of the story, I like how you're just able to do more than just selecting one character and get unique dialogue after, I used Raiden to stick with the canon because I do assume canonically, it's where Raiden and Liu Kang finish off Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.
The sequel will probably never say who actually defeated Shan Tsung and Quan Chi, so the players can decide for themselves.
I picked Shang because seeing Shang and Kang fight side by side was badass.

As the *God of Fire* and *Keeper of Time* , *Liu Kang* is fulfilling his duties wonderfully crafting every timeline in which all beings will have the opportunity to find peace. Of course that peace will always be threatened by evil forces, but no matter what darkness awaits for each timeline *Liu Kang* will be prepared to make reasonable decisions and fight anyone who threatens the peace he created.

Unless they do another MK11: Aftermath, I doubt they’ll do more with DLC characters in the story mode. But even if they do, I heavily doubt they’ll have the right to use intellectual property like that.
Still though, the idea of fully good titan versions of those three are neat, especially Homelander considering how much of a villain he is.

Raiden, Kitana, and Kung Lao's quotes are personal since they are the people whom Liu Kang loves so dearly in past timelines. Then, it is weird to hear a respectful Bi-Han, Shao, Tsung, Sindel, Millena, Baraka, and Reptile.
Those are different Raiden, Kitana and Kung Lao. You can see their models are different from the last chapter and the real Kitana from past timeline helps the chosen fighter kill kombat kids at the pyramid
Making it a little bit weirder further.
Baraka and Reptile are understandable because they're good in this timeline. Shang Tsung is weird, I agree, since it's our Shang Tsung (Liu Kang's timeline, look at his outfit) and definitely Shao lol

The allied and alive Kombatants (Kung Lao, Kenshi, Raiden, Kitana, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Mileena, Reptile, Baraka, Tanya, Li Mei, Scorpion and Smoke) are their story versions. The ones who are evil or dead in the story are their friendly timeline versions (Like Shao, Shang Tsung and Sindel).

That means all of them are from different timeline but the game devs probably forgot to change their skin
dont listen to any of these in the comments, they dont know anything. If you choose a good character, or Liu Kang's ally, its the main story ones. But if you choose a evil or Liu Kang's enemy, its an alternate good version from a different timeline. You can tell it by the costumes they wear, if they wear costumes they wore in the story earlier, then they are the same. If they wear different alternate costume, then different timeline. However, Sindel is an exception to the rule because she was dead in the main story so Liu Kang had to bring another Sindel from different timeline. Shang Tsung is also an exception, I am guessing he sided with Liu Kang against Titan Shang Tsung thats why

General Shao, Reiko, Rain, Subzero and Havik wear different costumes because their normal self (in the main timeline) would not side with Liu Kang, so if you choose them as final warrior, they are alternate good versions from another timeline.
Sindel also wear different costume because she was dead, so another timeline version replaced her.
Shang Tsung wears normal because he is the one from story, for some reason

I mean yes and no, in terms of the narrative story I would argue yes she is bad but when hearing her in Nitara's ladder ending she sounded well. This could be faulted by the mic quality the was given in her lines in the story/intros or other.
Also sidenote to that one guy that rag on Ronda I don't think she is bad as Megan for in some scenes in the MK11 story mode she sounded alright in some scenes, 1 for example was her death scene in chapter 1.

Why is there 2 liu kangs and why does the second one look more like the mk11 one than our one. That confused the shit out of me when i first played. Like the liu kang we know for all of mk1 is just some random other liu kang and our original one is just some random one that splintered off at the end of aftermath. It's weird how neither of them have lightning powers and its never actually explained how he lost those so maybe there's a 3rd one who's actually the original?

You know, I feel like Shao is the one who is more fitting here. This scene recreates Armagedon, he was the one to climb until the top there. Also, it is fitting that to defeat the two biggest threats the Og hero and a good version of the Og Villain unite, but thats just my opinion
What ns have done is awesome now they cam literally go any route. Liu kang era can be the peaceful timeline, while others stay gruesome and bloody. Its perfect
