I just took the test and got high marks in every section. My best advice is to be calm, take your time on the reading, and don't over-prepare. I gave very short and concise answers in the speaking portion, but i spoke clearly and with proper grammar. The vast majority of your points come from simply demonstrating command of the English language. They aren't looking for elaborate answers - just reasonable responses. Familiarize yourself with the format and practice each question type a few times (not 100 times), and you'll be fine.
Congratulations on your high marks! That's fantastic to hear. Your advice is spot on-staying calm and taking your time can really make a difference. Clear and concise answers are often more effective than overly elaborate ones. Thank you for sharing your insights; they will definitely help others preparing for the test! If you have any more tips or experiences to share, feel free to do so!
Thanks. I took note for the example: 8:43 The bar graph represents the number of statutory holidays observed in various countries in 2023, including the Philippines, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom. In 2023, Nepal had the most statutory holidays of the countries shown on the bar chart, with 35 days. The United Kingdom and the United States of America had the fewest national holidays, with only ten days for each of the two countries. After Nepal, the country with the next highest number of public holidays was Sri Lanka with ten fewer days of holiday in the year. This was followed reasonably closely by both India and Kazakhstan, each with 21 national holidays. In conclusion, it can be seen that there is substantial variation in the number of statutory holidays, ranging from ten to thirty-five.
This is roughly the way I answered all of my describe-an-image questions. I got a perfect score on the test. Intro, highest stat, lowest stat, conclusion - that's all you need.
Your videos have been really helpful for me and helped me hit the Superior threshold after having a Proficient score in two of my three attempts. Thanks a lot!

Hello, I just heard some issue from someone, at the begining of sentences u cant repeat the headline but u start with headline I heard its forbidden and if u do this u get punishment?
During test day, you will receive 6 to 7 items of describe image right? 20 sec is very short and then speak , i hope they put this in writing subtest... 😭
Yes, it can be challenging, but remember, the key is to be clear and concise, focusing on the most important details of the image. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it! 😉
This is ridiculous. You'll fumble for sure. Just describe every term in the picture with three or so sentences and make a conclusion statement. Even if you say wrong information, it doesn't matter. I got 90 in speaking Edit: These guys are telling you IELTS strategies as PTE.😂
Can i use the format given by mulestone. Luke This audio is mainy about... And also about...and also about ... I think thats enough , Thank you so much?? Please reply i have exams in 3 days😢😢
I again attended PTE and got 90 again in speaking and overall 89 out of 90. I fumbled in one describe image and retell lecture. But I had very good read aloud and rest of the describe image. So guys, just relax. Take it easy.
Is it describing an image or analysing an image?! The preparation time of 25 seconds is too short, and the 30 seconds for responding is also insufficient. This part of the exam is unfair and not standardized! For example in IELTS we have more time to respond.
Many find the preparation and response times challenging, especially when compared to other exams like IELTS, which offer more time. It can definitely feel a bit rushed, and it's understandable to feel that it's not entirely fair. Practicing under timed conditions might help you get more comfortable with the format. Your feedback is valid, and it's important for exam boards to consider such concerns for future improvements!
