  • In this cake decorating tutorial, I show you this new technique on how to make edible fabric with only 2 ingredients! No gelatin needed for this, which is great because I always had trouble getting the other version to stick to my cake, not to mention it is so heavy:( I have used this to make flowers, but I saw ‪@funkybatterinc‬ doing this and it sparked inspiration. P.S. Go check her out:)
    wafer paper=a.co/d/3TWsauB
    Food Grade Glycerin=a.co/d/9fXMuNk
    wafer paper conditioner=floreacakes.co...
dark chocolate ganache=2 parts dark chocolate to 1 part heavy cream. Heat the cream until it starts to steam but does not boil. Pour over the chocolate, making sure to cover all of it. Let sit for a few minutes then whisk together until melted. Cover with saran wrap like you would with pudding to prevent it from forming a skin. Let it cool and then use.

Absolutely georgious and stunning. Thank you so much. So happy each time I see your videos. I would like to ask about the texture and taste of the wafer paper and if you put it in the fridge how it changes? Do you wait till it dries then you put it in the fridge? Please and thank you xx

If you don’t have an edible printer, is there a way to paint on to the wafer paper before putting it on the cake so that I could create a similar design? You are so creative and your cakes always turn out looking so beautiful.

You can dry brush luster dust and petal dust onto the paper. It will be light, but you will get se color.

Great technique and very pretty image. Would love to see you use it in a way it doesn’t cover the entire cake, but as part of a decoration combined with other techniques. Watching you is like therapy - instant happiness 🥰

This is soo beautiful!! ❤I missed how the wafer paper went from being prepped to then being very loose and wet looking. Did you soak the paper? I'm not sure but would love to know as I.d love to try this beautiful technique. Thank you!!

That happens as it sets after applying conditioner with the brush. It absorbs it.

P.S. Hi Mary, the wafer paper you use is an 0 grade?
I only use edible photo paper for edible prints.
