Well, at that point, i think it wouldn't actually make a difference in Katchalov's choice. Sure, Cheong could go for 40-45k, but then it would most certainly mean he has a full-house. The first one isn't really a bad beat. They were all-in pre-flop so the numbers are locked in at 66-34. Going through flop, turn and river are just motions for entertainment. The percentages don't mean much at that point as there are no more actions to be taken. (But losing like this sucks anyways.)
