- Grosdidier is a neurologist at Confluence Health in Wenatchee, Washington. On Oct. 25, 2023 she was pulled over after a hit and run accident in East Wenatchee and arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence in Wenatchee. In 2024, in response to a Washington State Medical Commission investigation, she maintained that she was not driving under the influence. Footage provided by Wenatchee Police Department in response to a public records request.

This tells me you haven’t met and spoken to many Neurosurgeons 😂 They can be quite demanding and temperamental sober at work. In the hospital. “Kate from Neurosurgery” is something I will never be able to not get shivers of pain from replaying in my mind. She was a HORRIBLE person to deal with and so rude I wanted to scream every time I got off the phone. I quit that hospital almost a year ago and I am still traumatized.

She's being investigated by Wa Medical Commission after whistleblower informed them of this arrest - because they said "the local papers would not cover this because she was cozy with them". Do there's that. No further updates on the investigation because it just started. This is from 4 days ago

On Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, the City of Wenatchee’s prosecuting attorney’s office withdrew the DUI citation. Apparently, the prosecutor couldn't be bothered to uphold the law.
Liberal judges and prosecutors like this city's courts will continue to confound the good law officers who are trying to protect its law abiding citizens.
The head of the hospital probably called the mayor or chief of police. Scratching each other’s backs.

That she has not been fired from the Hospital or sanctioned by the Washington State Medical Board confirms everything I have seen for 66 years. If you are part of the "club" you would
have to murder someone on camera to be fired (much less charged for a crime). And just for the record I am a professional (retired) and I am a strong proponent of employee rights. But this is a so-called medical professional who should be held to a higher standard. But she has the female "shield" also, so the hospital is very aware of potential lawsuits no matter how frivolous.

The amount of money they make for the hospital… yeah they won’t fire them unless it is the absolute last resort. It is gross. I get to work with these folks at the hospital and they are even worse to deal with there. Because they are “GODS” in that arena

If you go frame by frame during the "shove", her right foot gets stuck behind her left foot while she is turning to the right and with the small push off from the officer and her momentum and lack of balance due to whatever is in her system, I believe that fall was 90 percent her fault and 10 percent the fault of the officers for not maintaining positive control of the suspect. This is all in my own opinion of course.

This neurologist seems to need a reset - she keeps repeating the same line. A whistleblower wrote to the Wa. Medical Commission to have her investigated because of this accident. The whistleblower claimed that "local papers would not write about this incident because they were cozy with her". This was online just 4 days ago, so there's no current update. So there may be bigger repercussions for this

Ja, that was a but much. She FLEW across that cell. I slowed the playback but it's difficult to see whether they pushed her or she was struggling and with them moving her forward she propelled herself forward, lost her balance and went down.
Aside from that, cops were unbelievably polite, patient and professional.
Unacceptable that the DUI was dropped and that she hasn't been fired. She's supposed to be a medical professional. Does she attend patients? I certainly hope not!

This is the comment I came for, the cop that pushed her cuffed into the cell should resign. The rest of the interaction was handled well by the cops.
I feel the same. I think Officer Hernandez was fed up with her and pushing her into the cell was retaliatory. Also, I don't understand why they couldn't have taken a minute to tell her why she was being detained. Most of the police videos I see are of officers who don't clearly state why they've stopped someone. They then expect them to get out of their car and cooperate while being handcuffed, but the detained individual keeps asking why is this happening, all while the officer ignores them. I realize an intoxicated person may still not understand why they were stopped even if you clearly told them. But their being stopped should always be clearly stated at the onset and recorded on the body cam. If an officer is ignoring a person who wants to know what's going on, they are intentionally inciting that person to react negatively towards them.
But who will feed her 11 cats?

I’m 72 years old and never in my life has it occurred to me to tell somebody that I feel uncomfortable when they are obviously doing their job for obvious reasons. It’s not that I haven’t felt uncomfortable, it’s that I wouldn’t be so self-centered is to think that that’s important to a policeman arresting me..

That “toss” into the cell may not only cause them an otherwise easy case, it may cause them a lawsuit. She was screaming and minor resisting. That was not necessary. The DA dropped the DUI charges because the blood draw "could take a year and the defendant has a right to a speedy trial." But they can refile DUI charges at a later time. I'll believe when I see it.
