Paul isn't saying that older guys shouldn't be used at all, they just shouldn't be the main focus. They're great in a reduced capacity, but it gets old when they constantly sit on the shoulders of the newer talent and refuse to let them get over.
Ngl I feel like if TNA made an ownership deal with Spike just like the Ultimate Fighter did then things would've been so different & they might've gotten Heyman
cause he is back in wwe now they should give him a weekly one hour show to let him talk about everything wrestling and have no boundaries by wwe creative. Paul speaking his mind equals entertainment
Sting isn't champion? Also if a guy can wrestle and look good then why should it matter? Sting is still an amazing Wrestler. TNA promotes young Wrestlers. Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, AJ STyles, Bobby Rude, Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson. The 3 guys over 40 are Sting, Kurt Angle and Bully Ray. Who are all still fantastic Wrestlers and deserve to be in the industry still. I'm not going to mark a man or women by there age if it has no strains. If that was the case Undertaker still has a main spot in WM?
the funny (and also: sad) thing about this is that (at least to a certain percentage) this also applies to the WWE in 2014. instead of creating new stars, with ever year they more and more rely on superstars of the past.
i'm not sure what the hell they are doing with cesaro though: he got amazing reactions around the time of wrestlemania. and the wwe seemed to have done everything wrong since then... so he "cooled off" so much.
I fucking hate it when interviews go in to a Q&A section with people calling in and stuff. Always a total mess.
TNA talk. 6:12. You're welcome.
Paul isn't saying that older guys shouldn't be used at all, they just shouldn't be the main focus. They're great in a reduced capacity, but it gets old when they constantly sit on the shoulders of the newer talent and refuse to let them get over.
One of the best interviews about the industry.
One of the best wrestling mind in the industry.....
Who are these 2 guys? Why are they fighting? Why should I care? Brilliant.
How right Paul is about TNA when he's talking about it.
Ngl I feel like if TNA made an ownership deal with Spike just like the Ultimate Fighter did then things would've been so different & they might've gotten Heyman
Paul Heyman is a smart man
Could listen to paul talk all day
If I ever owned a wrestling company, I would give Paul Heyman whatever he wanted to be the General Manager/ Head of Creative
13:15 great life lesson.
Timeless one
cause he is back in wwe now they should give him a weekly one hour show to let him talk about everything wrestling and have no boundaries by wwe creative. Paul speaking his mind equals entertainment
"You have to take from Vince McMahon"
Tony Khan has just done that
rofl
Not really. 2% tops. That's a start but not something to hang your hat on
wow, in 2013 TNA would have been disappointed with a 1.5, in 2020 WWE would LOVE a 1.5.
"Everybody is entitled to there own opinion no matter how Fucking stupid there are" I want that on a T-shirt
18:18 is the best!!!!

this was 4 years ago.... ( 2010) he said shane mcmahon was 40
Shane McMahon *was* 40 in 2010
Now he is the head writer for WWE. Paul is a genius, but you better not leave your wallet out around him...
I love Paul Heyman. But I just don't agree with his age ristriction in pro wrestling. We have different views there.
If Paul Heyman ever became GM of the Yankees and did what he said he would do he wouldn't last 5 minutes
crazy that the Yankees now are going more the route of youngsters with the farm system & $$$. fresh rebuilding
Where's the Benoit part?
He mentions he was meant to be Benoits manager in part 1
No rybackisagod guy or cm puke or whatever his name is on the comments below!!! FINALLY!!!!
Handsy from the Howard Stern is the first caller. haha what the fuck.
When was this?
I think this interview happened sometime back in 2011.

they did bring out some great talent recently
check out the (former)99 shield, and a guy called cesaro
i'm not sure what the hell they are doing with cesaro though: he got amazing reactions around the time of wrestlemania. and the wwe seemed to have done everything wrong since then... so he "cooled off" so much.
To be fair how many guys are out injured? CM Punk being a bitch didnt help.
@@MBHerbig and look what happened to cesaro in 2014-2021 you dummy
