IMO not including a cape because of a jetpack is like not including a hairpiece because of a helmet

They could have added a cape similar to Jafar from Lego Disney Series, but the figure is still amazing

The evil queen from the Disney cmf has a red and black cape if you want a good replacement
The Gideon from the light cruiser is better, Lego should’ve used the Gar Saxon helmet and added an extra horn in the front bc the official Gideon helmet is too wide

I'm so glad Moff Gideon got a unique helmet. Such a cool design, glad it's finally getting a Minifigure representation
I love the way it looks, but mine is way too fragile and falls off if I turn the figure upside down.
@@evill01i feel like that's also a problem with the rebel trooper helmets, I don't get why these in particular don't stay on as well

Lego were clever with the guards in this set, if you want the third you have to buy the advent calender.

I kicked myself for not getting the Armorers Forge back when it was available because I wanted Paz Vizla. Now he’s back, and I couldn’t be happier
@CanadaBricks I have been the same way! I sadly missed out on that set and wanted the Paz Vizla waited to long to buy on the aftermarket but for this set to be out it gives me another chance to get Paz
As someone who has “The Armorers Forge” set since both Paz Vizslas are slightly different with mild changes, I highly recommend!
Finally! After all these years, we finally have a Gustavo Fring minifigure.

This feels kinda like another hallway scene - get 2 or 3, maybe more and build up over the door, then out along the floor to create some more space

This works wonders for a base: add your own parts, a 42x42 baseplate, the other set and done.

Thats a great sales technique because it will make more people buy the advent calendar to complete the set.

1 face print in the 8 figures released. Ill give the guards a pass regarding the face. The other five figures should have gotten a face print. If stormtroopers and snow troopers get faces why can't commandos and manfos get them? Moff is nicely done
Maybe bc they’re mandalorians and they don’t ever take off their helmets?? And correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure the commandos are droids, which is a good reason for them not to have a face

This was a really fun build. I was lucky enough to find the colorful mandolorian battle pack, so adding paz vizla to all of em is rad. Moff Gideon also fits in the 75300 TIE fighter with his helmet and backpack and I love that.

Just pointing this small detail out (not sure if MandR noticed it) but Lego did do a small cheap thing where the jet pack mold is reused from FO jet troopers which I don’t think is the accurate jet pack for the imperial commandos and Gideon (but they do include a new print for the jet pack mold, I mean it still looks good, it just that one small detail I noticed)
The ways to obtain 3rd praetorian guard:
1. Buy another set
2. Buy upcoming adventure calendar
3. Buy off secondary market
Awesome set. The praetorians are looking kinda bland. Maybe if the helmet size was reduced slightly there could be room for a shoulder armor attachment to bulk up the figure.

The red really brightens that Moff Gideon minifig up, and I think that the minifigs are ten out of ten. Although, it's true LEGO could've added better detailing for the leg pieces on the Praetorian guards. If LEGO added even one more inch of space for the set, it would be a better play set. It's an awesome recreation, though, and I'm definitely getting this set.
I really like the idea of having a bunch of sets that can connect to make a bigger building. Hopefully they build on this idea and don’t immediately scrap it.
I changed the square 1x1 for an orange stud of the same translucent color on paz vizlas blaster. Looks so much better

I'm so excited to build this set and the Captain Rex microfighter I'm just upset because I ordered 4 days before we left for a week-long vacation and they were supposed to show up the day we left and they didn't so I don't get to even look at them until Monday

I’ve been waiting for this set for a really long time and I didn’t think Lego would make those guards (I don’t know how to spell it). Plus Moff Gideon is in the set in his mandalorain version!
marvel quite often gets fire extinguishers in their sets... wonder if lamps are going to become the thing for star wars
Well there is I guess good news because the advent calendar is going to have the 3rd pratorion gaurd
Going to be an awesome two sets when they go on sale at 20% off. Get two of the bunker sets to get the 3 correct guards. Save $16 off for an almost free battle pack and then hopefully enough extra pieces to add onto the cave.

while this helmet still doesn't look like the one Paz Visla uses, it's a nice upgrade over the old droopy visor. And the side print adds a bit more detail. I thought it was the exact same but they added a bit more detail to the indents too and the visor is the correct height now, like they did with Din's helmet. Those early helmets were rough and look so bad.
Yeah I hope they remake the Armourer too. All 3 of the figures in that Forge set had really weird helmet prints.

I picked this one up today. Thinking of getting another three and 4-5 battle packs to combine into a fort.
I think they should have added paz's blade and shield instead or his gun it would be more accurate to the scene

Skirt legs like you said, and a red cape on the praetorian guard would have really made them amazing. if I get this set I’ll for sure be ordering a couple red capes from brick link.
How can Lego print the individual horns on the Armorer helmet, but not around the fin on clone helmets?
Same with the Astromech droid heads. LEGO just has very inconsistent quality.
I noticed the one guard’s weapon used that one piece that everyone says Maul’s lightsaber should use.
LEGO has to return cloth pieces, the praetorians would be Miles better with them, possibly with the torso piece that Paz Vizsla had too, Moff Gideon is while great without a cape he would still work with one if you put it under the backpack piece
The newer Paz has also a missing print on the hip between the legs
The third Praetorian guard is going to be in the Star Wars Advent calendar. Now, there is another reason to buy that calendar to complete the scene.

The 3rd praetorian guard is coming in the advent calendar. I think it makes complete sense for them to do it that way.
But a 3rd in this set wouldn’t have hurt it
2:23 new paz also has a much thinner and more angular visor when compared to the old one
Aside from the lack of a cape, the one thing I find odd about Gideon isn't actually the figure itself, it's the lack of his electrostaff he uses when dueling Bo-Katan. Though i don't find it a major issue since you can very easily build your own staff for him
Hey Ryan and Fans!!! Just another tiny minor detail on Paz Viszla, I’ve noticed that I haven’t seen anyone pick up on. It’s just a tiny line going across his groin on the old one and the new ones it’s missing. That’s definite. Also the older one has two extra buttons on his belt pocket. Also there’s like an extra black line around one of the button pockets. Very small things but they are different on the torso.

Paz Vizla is a totally different print every thing is off a bite. Ryan didn’t notice the middle of the legs are not printed on the new one. He mentioned the new helmet print & the torso difference’s. I wish Lego would have just given him battle damage from this scene!
I’d say the set is pretty good, the only things I would fix is add the missing preatorian guard and upgrade their weapons and give them the better hips and leg piece from the FO pretorian guard, then I think the price would make more sense of $40
How about a cape for the character that always wears one
I mean sure, but I’m not too sure Lego would do a first cape, then jet pack combo, especially if they didn’t do that for the mandalorian, but yeah, the cape would have been nice too

They should have added this to the side of The jabbas palace throne room with the q tip looking lil robot eye camera and C-3PO trying to get in 😂 something like this would go well with a moc for that maybe
I do think the missing guard can be forgivable seeming 4 minifigs is not bad at all and clearly spent way more time and effort on the designs which I do hope Lego keep up the work with. Apart from that I'd be surprised if you could fit a 3rd guard with the set lol, which leads into the only major drawback which is the size. Is more like a £20-30 set in my opinion but I think all they should have done is legit add a simple 6×6 board sticking out directly in the of the door and add more of those flats + studded flat (for the platform from the scene). Whats that like 8-12 more peices maybe? That would have made the set much much more great and worth the 40 in my opinion.
But still a awsome set/sets and defo buying

Genuine question, I know it’s been talked about a lot in the community with the double helmet bulges on the side of the clones helmet and how they are not accurate. Do they not change it because it cost a lot of money for a new mold or because they know they can get away without having to change it? Keep up the content!

You forgot to mention that the new Paz has a downgraded hip, with no printing in the middle part, so a slight downgrade from the old figure. Also, where are Brickheadz reviews for May 2024!!!! Am I missing something!!!! Please, someone explain!!!!
Paz Vizla's legs are different too. Think the only reused part is the chestplate. (Other than the backpack and plain head obviously)
I managed to get the cape under the jet pack for not only my moff gideon but also with my mandalorian
I bought a second cape and placed it under the jetpack. Looks just fine

I just recently got this one and the battle pack and I was surprised to see black heads for the battle pack and now the black and red heads in this set. I agree with you that the guards should have had black helmets but why no face for the imperial commandos, mandalorians and paz visla?
You should use this set and buy like 2-3 more of the mando battle packs to make a whole square ish display scene
These things, at least for me, have been impossible to found out in the wild.
Paz Vizla’s uh.. who ha isn’t printed anymore either. Is waist is. In the armorer set, the vertical line on the waist piece (his junk) is printed to match the legs and waist. On the new one the print is exactly the same but the center is bare plastic. Is super small, I just find it weird with the legs being exactly the same otherwise, waist print included.

As much as I appreciate what look like some great minifigs in this set, I think I’m going to wait until August for the Battle on Peridea set to release before I determine which to get first. Anything over $30 I’m hesitant to spend money on. That being said I’m probably going to pick up the battle pack, because I appreciate what the Imperial Commandos look like

@MandRproductions hey need to make it a custom double or triple set out of this get two or three and let’s see if you can make it a full show scenario scene and make maybe a bigger door same design and more walls and floor so they fight can take place that would be cool
I really like the Moff Gideon figure
The Bounty Hunter Battle Pack was about a third of the price and had 4 named movie characters plus a build of only slightly lower quality to this one. This has two named show characters and a build that isn't fantastic. It's certainly not worth the price, you'd be better off buying 2 battle packs instead. I might get it for the sake of character collection, but only if it's reasonably reduced in price somewhere
