Keeping your head up, means shoulders are straighter, you are more balanced in the saddle. Its a great idea thanks for sharing

I was always taught to look up and always be looking where you want to go. your horse will follow

Developing " Feel " takes it's time no matter which discipline one does from Reiner's, Dressage , 3 Day Event , Paso Finos , Walking horses , etc ...
Good riding is good riding no matter which breed or discipline . Perhaps we horsemen ( plural ) can begin to learn from one another .
It's good that you share ... there is nothing developed new in the Equine world and most sports , done well , correlate in some shape or fashion .
    Love your work !

That's what's up!! I was always taught to not look down at my horse while riding. We give off unconfident energy which transfers to the horse. I've always been taught that we communicate with our animals through the energy we put off. If you think about it, that's how they communicate with one another. Thanks for another great tip Matt!!

Great idea! I know to keep my head up and eyes forward, but I find myself looking at my horse’s head, neck, leads and diagonals.

Riding blind! Going with the horse trusting your leadership! The blinders are put on the human, not the herd animal! You have kicked this great message! So grateful for, in-depth teaching! Thank you again! 😎😎😎⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻🐴🙀😅

OMG! What a GREAT idea!!! 👍THANK YOU!! Hurry up and patent these!! Gabby had a FANTASTIC idea of putting your name on the black out part!! 👍I'll be one of the first ones to buy them from you! As hard as I try, I constantly find myself looking down at my mare's head 🥴

Hey Matt, your biggest fan from Chile here. Love you videos but in these last two the background music is particularly annoying. Just so you know. Big fan of your work otherwise.

That is like riding in a sallet helmet. It just forces you to look eye level and learn how to feel what the horse is doing with your thighs.

Good idea 💡 just an inexperienced question lol Gabby is leaning forward quite a bit a the fast run, is this a reiner thing? 😬 When i canter/lope i need to sit back for my balance.

For the large, fast circles it helps some people.

Sorry bud, but you really need to turn down the music if you expect people to really hear what you are saying. It is way to distracting to be able to focus on the lesson

    Hi again MATT
Eyes should be looking forward and or spotting where you're going with head up chin tucked and shoulders back.
When looking down the shoulders round out and all of posture balance etc is thrown off and presentation looks unfinished/tacky. Helps with entire posture.
Never thought about your glasses idea! Would have saved me repeating myself thousands of times lol! Not funny cause you're on to something that truly helps. Quick get a patton attorney lol!
