Michael Brown went into a convenience store and stole something, daring the clerk to confront him physically...then walked down the middle of the street like society had to obey his rules. To this day his parents refuse to watch the video and acknowledge what he did, committing a strong-arm robbery of the convenience store. In the same way, 'riots' were actually a cover to commit crimes. They didn't know squat about him before that. The same for Trayvon the criminal Martin. It was indisputable that he attacked Zimmerman and was bashing Zimmerman's head into the pavement, as evidenced by the video of the back of Zimmerman's head at the police station with lacerations all over it. He didn't bash his own head into the pavement. The shot was also consistent with Martin being on top of him doing said bashing of head into pavement. Now, was Zimmerman also a nut? Yes, absolutely. Neither could stay out of trouble. Both had a past. People again used it as an excuse to commit unrelated crimes in their local cities and loot, rob, damage, etc. BLM to this day does the same thing as a guise for crimes. In the same way, how many people know the back story of Rodney King? Early in the morning of Sunday, March 3, 1991, King, with his friends Bryant Allen and Freddie Helms, were driving a 1987 Hyundai Excel west on the Foothill Freeway (Interstate 210) in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. The three had spent the night watching basketball and drinking at a friend's house in Los Angeles. At 12:30 a.m., officers Tim and Melanie Singer, husband and wife members of the California Highway Patrol, noticed King's car speeding on the freeway. They pursued King with lights and sirens, and *the pursuit reached 117 mph, while King refused to pull over. King would later say he fled the police hoping to avoid a driving under the influence charge and the parole violation that could follow.* King wasn't a saint, that's for sure. Quite frankly, anyone - of any race or nationality - should get their azz kicked off for doing 117mph and putting countless lives at risk of death just trying to avoid a DUI charge. King had already been into something previously, of course...and was violating parole with the DUI and running from police. You won't hear the media tell that. King left the freeway near the Hansen Dam Recreation Area and the pursuit continued through residential streets at speeds ranging from 55 to 80 miles per hour, and through at least one red light. By this point, several police cars and a police helicopter had joined in the pursuit. After approximately 8 miles, officers cornered King in his car. He was acting like a fool and got the treatment of a fool. 'Should' police have beaten him? I could ask the the same of King... 'should' King have been drinking and driving, running from police and violating his parole? No. Did he? Yes. Should they have beaten him? No, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a law-abiding citizen who would agree that he didn't deserve it. They'd be asking instead, "What if he hit my family member's car at 117mph and killed them while fleeing?"
According to witnesses, Latasha did dispute. Search up "court room cast lexis nexis Latasha Harlins". There should be a link titled "People v. Superior Court (Du)." According to these witnesses, defendant confronted Latasha, called her a "bitch" and accused her of trying to steal the orange juice; Latasha stated she intended to pay for it. According to defendant, she asked Latasha to pay for the orange juice and Latasha replied, "What orange juice?" Defendant concluded that Latasha was trying to steal the juice." Two witnesses say Latasha did contest, defendant says she denied. Whats more is: "Defendant then passed out behind the counter." "Defendant, still unconscious, was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where she was treated for facial bruises and evaluated for possible neurological damage." "At defendant's trial, she testified that she had never held a gun before, did not know how it worked, did not remember firing the gun and did not intend to kill Latasha." After her husband entered, Du passed out and was taken to hospital. In court, she stated that she didn't remember firing the gun even though she did and it can be seen in cctv footage. She is either lying, or her recollection is hazy due to passing out and/or injuries sustained by Harlin's punches. Either way, it makes her testimony about Latasha lying about the orange juice less believable.
I can't imagine shooting someone in the back of the head over orange juice! That was murder, pure and simple, that woman belongs in prison until ahe can bring that poor girl back!
Crazy you guys in the US like to glorify criminals. From the story, it does seem she was stealing. Stealing is stealing whether it is a bottle of juice or a rolex. It’s very likely that the store owner had been pushed to the limit by a certain demographic stealing stuff all the time from her store and snapped and then did the wrong thing in her rage. What is telling, is that they are glorifying her with large images on walls, but they don’t even look after her grave, showing that they actually don’t give a stuff about her and are just using her for their agenda/victimhood. The lesson here is do not steal.
So you think shop owners are ok to shoot shop lifters in the back of the head as they’re leaving?! Wow! Thank god we don’t have guns here in the UK because you seem like the type of person that would be firing shots off at anyone you don’t like the look of 😂
No it’s not everybody in America just the liberals who place criminals on a pedestal and praise them. Us normal people still see things the way they are.
I visited some family graves recently. All had flat gravestones. They didn't have any film on them, but a couple had settled unevenly. I spoke to someone in the cemetery office. They told me to let them know who's gravestones needed to be leveled and that they would take care of them. And they did. Perhaps the film on those gravestones in the video was from lawn treatments of some type.
First she steals then hits the store owner. Store owner was 100% right no reason to suger coat a theif. FA&FO Damn from the looks of the headstone even her family doesn't care about her. The store owner never should have been taken to court over this. Name a park after a theif wth is up with that.
Over 30 years ago. The store owner grabbed her first. She should have let the police handle. She wasn’t being robbed at gunpoint. I understand she snapped but she snapped and thought she should grab LH and defend her store. They built stores in black neighborhoods to make money and sell poison to the community. Anyway....
I used to work a a cemetery digging graves and we also used to pour a concrete footing about 2 feet thick for the flat stones and 4 feet thick for head stones the size to match the stones footprint so they wouldn't sink in like that. I believe that is what all are supposed to do also
@@Twilight24682 yeah the violent thug was the one who punched in self defence and not the one grabbed the her in the first place and shot a 15 year old child while she was literally leaving the store
Just goes to show you those riots were an opportunity to steal and loot .. they didn’t care about that girl .. the state of her grave clearly shows that. All for nothing

So, there's a multi-state mural thing of some politically martyred black persons who were "probably" causing grief via a cornerstore that lost their lives near such cornerstore which somehow lead to violence and rioting after they've departed from this existence. Mmm, k
At least pick an athlete for role models and to honor in naming parks…. She is marginally better (or less bad) than St. George Kirby the drug addled counterfeiter.
Did she though? She was killed before a jury of her peers could decide that. She had not even left the store without paying and was shot in the back of the head.
The Wikipedia article about Latasha Harlins says: "The videotape showed that Du grabbed Harlins by her sweater and snatched her backpack. Harlins then struck Du with her fist twice, knocking Du to the ground." If this is true, the store owner initiated the assault. The young girl was plainly justified in defending herself. She then had a stool thrown at her before being cowardly murdered.

Either way, it makes her testimony about Latasha lying about the orange juice less believable.
The poor girl seems to have been forgotten about. Thanks for telling her unfortunate story.
She wasn't killed over orange juice. She was killed over punching the owner in the face 4 times.... much different
she punched the owner AFTER getting grabbed by her but leave that part out to support your narrative ig
@@drysponge1899 quit defending her hoodlum actions. She didn't deserved to get murdered but she wasn't no angel

Yes nobody should die over juice
It makes you wonder they rioted named a park after her and not one person goes to grave and cleans it 🇦🇺
It's because the riots are never really about the victim.

These communities elevate their criminal element, then they wonder why businesses leave and the neighborhoods go into deep decline.

Wow! Thank god we don’t have guns here in the UK because you seem like the type of person that would be firing shots off at anyone you don’t like the look of 😂
Only black criminals get glorified in the USA!! Not sure why that is every other race in America looks down on criminals in their cultures
No it’s not everybody in America just the liberals who place criminals on a pedestal and praise them. Us normal people still see things the way they are.
The LA. W.
It's with certain peoples
Rip latasha and well done you two for cleaning the grave marker 🙏👍
I visited some family graves recently. All had flat gravestones. They didn't have any film on them, but a couple had settled unevenly. I spoke to someone in the cemetery office. They told me to let them know who's gravestones needed to be leveled and that they would take care of them. And they did.
Perhaps the film on those gravestones in the video was from lawn treatments of some type.
First she steals then hits the store owner. Store owner was 100% right no reason to suger coat a theif. FA&FO Damn from the looks of the headstone even her family doesn't care about her. The store owner never should have been taken to court over this. Name a park after a theif wth is up with that.
name a criminal a president wth is up with that
Over 30 years ago. The store owner grabbed her first. She should have let the police handle. She wasn’t being robbed at gunpoint. I understand she snapped but she snapped and thought she should grab LH and defend her store. They built stores in black neighborhoods to make money and sell poison to the community. Anyway....
Sad, no flowers anywhere
They do have a chemical to use to clean grave stone
I used to work a a cemetery digging graves and we also used to pour a concrete footing about 2 feet thick for the flat stones and 4 feet thick for head stones the size to match the stones footprint so they wouldn't sink in like that. I believe that is what all are supposed to do also
That cemetery looks horrible
May she rest in peace 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
And she also had the money in her hand to pay for the juice
She punched the store owner instead of explaining she had the money she acted like a violent thug she got what's coming to her
@@Twilight24682 yeah the violent thug was the one who punched in self defence and not the one grabbed the her in the first place and shot a 15 year old child while she was literally leaving the store
That liquor store owner shot and killed a 15 yr old child over a bottle of orange juice?!?! Unbelievable
Think twice before robbing innocent people.
Been waiting on this one.
😢🙏sad story, thank you!
Just goes to show you those riots were an opportunity to steal and loot .. they didn’t care about that girl .. the state of her grave clearly shows that. All for nothing
Naming a park after an alleged thief… You’d think LA could do better, but they cannot.

I'm here from Lamont! You do good work. Very sad to see the lingering repercussions from such things...
Her own ppl dont even care abt maintaining her grave yet name parks and paint murals of her. Shows what the priorities really are. Superficial
So sad , 🙏

Dont steal
Did she though? She was killed before a jury of her peers could decide that. She had not even left the store without paying and was shot in the back of the head.
She had the money in her hand coward
The Wikipedia article about Latasha Harlins says: "The videotape showed that Du grabbed Harlins by her sweater and snatched her backpack. Harlins then struck Du with her fist twice, knocking Du to the ground." If this is true, the store owner initiated the assault. The young girl was plainly justified in defending herself. She then had a stool thrown at her before being cowardly murdered.
That’s a lie
