It blows my mind that I saw The Cure at Wembley in 1989 on the Disintegration tour and here they are, 33 years after that, still playing 3 hour sets and still sounding mind-blowingly beautiful 😮
So great. The first time I saw the Cure was in 1992 during the Wish tour. My brother and I were so blown away that they played for 3 hours. Very few bands do that. That they’re still killing it live is really fantastic. They sound so amazing too ❤❤
@@farrington4918 I watched the whole song. There is either an echo effect on the vocals or it is an echo from the sheer size of the stadium. I’ve seen them 10 times. The last time was a week ago. Zero lip syncing. I’d be able to pick that out in a heartbeat. Robert always sings different lyrics and uses different inflections to certain words that he sings. Pretty difficult to change that for every show in a backing track. The Cure are 100% real music. Plus this is a multi cam video that is spliced together with a singular audio track. Sometimes it doesn’t align and can be a millisecond or 2 off.

@@farrington4918he wouldn’t lip sync, just wouldn’t happen…I saw these a few nights earlier in Birmingham and he lost his voice in the last few songs, so surely not
Bought two tickets yesterday for the New Orleans show - $20 apiece, unbelievable. Thank you Robert Smith for caring about the fans. Ticketmaster added their robbery charge of $31 to the order of course. Can't wait to finally see the Cure LIVE!!!
Very lucky! I got a ticket for the show in Toronto in June. VerifiedFan did not send a link - ticketmaster said they send them based on lottery system. Day of general public sales I was in the queue at 9:50am, said 2 folks were in from of me, at 10:01 they said it was sold out, just got a ticket on a third party site for 99 + a 45 fee, sucks but at least I'm going! Last saw them live in 1984!
Best money you will spend on a concert. They will sound perfect and will put on a 3 hour show. I’ve seen them 9 times and they just get better and better.
My wife and I flew to London from Rochester, MN to see this show! We first attended a Cure concert in 1988, then in 1990 and 1997. Our wedding dance was to a Cure song. Have tickets to see them in Columbia, MD in June.
Best show of all time for me for many reason, was in Montréal on june 17th 2023. I was there on july 4th 1996 and somewhere in 2013 also. The show in 1996 marked the 1st day of relationship with my wife., 28 yeats later we were there a the same place, with our 22 yo son. Since the 1st show, my wife contracted multilpe sclerosis, so it was very emotive that night, but i will never forget.
Can we just take a minute to applaud the individuals who filmed this fabulous concert?! So fn beautiful. So happy the Cure are finally touring the States. It’s been too long. The last time I saw them live was in 2016. Saw DM a few weeks ago. 2023 is shaping up to be a great year for shows. The Cure, DM, Culture Club, Duran Duran. Going to all! So happy 🔥🔥🔥
@@flinx649 I'm guessing you're another lucky winner of the "Ticketmaster Lottery"? Lots of angry folks on the internet today. (Guess I would be too if I got waitlisted.)
@@runcible4755 I joined The Cure Fan Club a while back... I was a verified fan... I don't know how these things work... I just went to TM with a code and got tickets 🤷♀
Thanks to everyone involved in creating this. The sound is amazing quality. My daughter and I travelled from Australia for this gig and it was awesome to witness in person. First saw them in 1981. Hoping they come back here again one day. 🙏
This show was SO good. We traveled to London from the US for this show. I couldn't believe how great they sounded. Definitely one of my favorite shows.
My Son and I flew all the way from Mexico to this show, since I missed the Monterrey show in ´92 ´çause I was 13, this was our first The Cure concert...it was amazing. Cheers!
Omg!!! Thank you!!! I couldn’t get tix for the Bowl. This is just amazing! I saw them and a festival years ago and they played 2 hours straight.. can’t imagine 3!!!
Seeing them in 1.5 weeks in Glendale, Arizona!! Came to YT for clips from their tour to hear how they sound... I just got chills/tears listening to "From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea" 🥹 Wow, I'm even more excited!!! They are prominently on the soundtrack of my life...high school, college, summers at the Jersey Shore, The Crow...❤❤❤❤
Watching again on the 1 year anniversary of this amazing show! I'll never ever forget how brilliant this concert was and how special it is to relive it all again through this film. Thanks so much xxx
Love and greetings to all of Them Cure fans around the world! Reading comments and I must say: y'all being fortunate and lucky to see one of the greatest bands ever at work, during their World Tour. Seen them back in 2019 in Bucharest, and it must have been the first and their last time touring in Romania. I was so hyped when they announced a 2022/2023 tour, but scrapped/skipped Bucharest completely. No wonder why, as the fan base here is weak and not as numerous like some other countries have. Good thing is... I can watch them here and I just love to read people's comments, thougths, love and admiration. Damn, Robert's voice sounds amazing!
Thanks for sharing. I was there a few people back from the front. It was a brilliant gig in my memory and this confirms that it was in fact a brilliant gig!
They are one of my favorite artists from the 80's. Unfortunately I wasn't able to be at their last November concert here in Chile. Thank you very much to those involved in this wonderful project.
To write, sing or perform like Robert Smith must be a great place to be, wish I could be a tiny part of that. And of course all the band members past and present, thank you to all of you.

This is wonderful! I'm going to see them in the most beautiful landscape- albuquerque isletta ampitheater. I'd love to a compilation of that show! I'm an editor. Do you have a how-to find footage and license to share? thank you!
Great reminder half the audience is there to pose for selfies to validate their lives. And that one's view is often the back of people's heads and the acoustics can really suck depending on the venue and your seat. It was so much better in 1982 when we were kids crowding into clubs and small theaters to see bands like the Cure for 20 bucks before they went stadium.
As soon as his voice comes in trough the mic is fucking goosebumps, so happy I got to see the cure live first time and only time in Pasadena couple years ago 🤘🏻 can’t wait to get tickets for the upcoming Hollywood Bowl shows
I have never been too a Cure gig but if you are reading this and you have I am jealous. The closest thing to seeing a spectacular thing to this is I have seen Pink Floyd. Both of them are spectacular.
Always wanted to see the Cure. Cheapest tickets for lawn were 80 bucks. For the Blossom show.. That I found. We're do you find the 20 buck tickets. Ugh.😢
Notice Simon hold up his bass covering his face at end "Promise to be with me in the end." I have heard some fans say he was in tears at times....he must have just lost someone. I love Robert....but Simon is the secret or special sauce, he essentially plays lead bass. From the UK we have been blessed with 3 bassiats thst are genius ..Simon, Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) and Geezer Butler (,Black Sabbath)
