Chris catches a lot of shit from some entitled collectors, but I respect the hell out of the guy. You can see how much he loves what he does. He’s like an enthusiastic little kid showing off his collection. Some people don’t realize how slim pickins’ were before TOTS. All the licensed, mass produced shit was terrible and if you wanted anything even remotely screen accurate you had to pay hundreds, even thousands of dollars and that’s after the near impossibility of even finding where to get it . Keep doing what you do, Chris. Believe me, it’s appreciated.

Why does he catch a lot of shit?
I totally agree, the market was pure crap just 20 years ago. Now you can get legit masks and props that are almost as good from the movies for a reasonable price. I remember the days in the 90’s going to a Walgreens finding a Freddy mask that looked like a leftover piece of pastrami. Slim pickings back in the day, don’t get me started on what we had for us as kids in the 80’s!
@@NirnBootMod Because people love to complain about ToTS production photos versus what the product actually looks like in hand which just goes to show how spoiled/entitled people are these days. Every time a person complains about the paint job on a 2018 Halloween/Halloween Kills mask I want to smack them. Even if that mask were sold as a raw pull, they’re still getting a mask straight from the movie mold for $70. Back in the day a movie mold pull would have sold for thousands and these people are bitching about having to pay $70. This is why I could never work in any industry that serves the public.

I really appreciate what Mr Zephro does for the Halloween community. Great stuff for good prices. Everything i own from them has came out looking great including the Kills Myers mask. I have no desire to re haul it.

Yeah you really can't get anything remotely close to this day as the tots Halloween masks the only thing is I wish that they would offer a few rehauled Michael Myers mask from the factory even though they are good still I just believe that a lot of people would get one I know that I would.
That was a great tour to rewatch as you went to each box that he showed the contents of with the horror masks, props, trinkets and horror items. Any chance of a new factory tour would be awesome to see, thanks!

Chris is a very passionate and savvy businessman. He hands you a few bucks worth of gifted merchandise and, in turn, receives an hour-long commercial during the ramp up to the Halloween season. Bravo.
Great video! So much fun getting to wander through a mask factory this close to Halloween. I kept getting visions of Silver Shamrock & playing the Halloween III jingle in my head while watching. All of their shelving was even green & orange like Halloween colors.

I’ve certainly got the wear time out of my TOTS H2 mask. Around the UK people tend not to go so crazy at Halloween but EVERYONE loves my Myers costume when I take my daughter for trick or treat. Loved the tour thank you so much for the video!!

Man, this tour was great! What a nice surprise. I liked seeing the packaging on their products because you don't see it on their website. I love TOTS and have been buying their products for years. I wish they existed in the 90's because we didn't have too many great options then. I went to their website after this video to buy more stuff. Thanks Sean for sharing this and thank you Chris for providing great products!

I have their Slim mask and Costume and I’m speech less of the quality and detail. Its worth the price of $90.00.

Because Chris doesn't take constructive criticism well and is a d!ck to his customers. You would NEVER hear someone say that about Ed Edmunds.
I'll give you a REAL example, and this is just one of many. I said to Chris I noticed the difference in quality in the masks that were made in different countries. He originally had made them in the US, which is great. But that was when he was just starting out and as he grew it was not cost effective to keep doing this. Yes, from a business stand point that is correct. He does have some still made in the US, but also now Mexico and China. The Masks from Mexico are pretty nice, decent paint jobs, thick pulls. The masks from China were not very good, the paint jobs were bad and the latex was very thin. I pointed that out to Chris and he came unglued and called me a racist! I was like "wtf! how is that racist?!?" So I proceeded to post a screen shot of an interview he did like 15 years ago where he complained and bashed companies making their products over seas because of the poor quality. And guess what? He didn't say a thing after that! Yeah, Chris glass houses bro.

Being a entrepreneur is a full-time, 24 hours per day commitment that requires 100% of your total effort (financially and energetically). You take on a ton of personal risk, make a ton of sacrifices, put your heart and soul into forming a company and putting together the teams that work together to bring you high-quality masks and all the other ridiculous crap that horror fans buy….only to have a bunch of elitist, overly entitled and self-indulgent collectors nitpick and criticize every little aspect of your product. How would you feel? Chris gets this all the time from people. Why? Because collectors ALWAYS want to nickel-and-dime you…. They always want MORE than what they paid for…. They’re spending $70 on a mask, but yet, they expect the kind of quality you’d see in highly customized and commissioned piece. These are the people that Chris is probably tired of dealing with. I can’t blame him. I’d tell all those people that complain, “Guess what? We didn’t make this mask for you. You’re buying from the wrong company. Take your money and overly inflated, self-indulgent expectations and criticisms to an independent artist that will spend one month on making your mask alone, and that he’ll charge you $1,000 for.”
@@mystical9054 No, I totally understand what your saying. I have high-end pieces and less expensive pieces too. I even have some old Top Stone masks that are total crap, but that's what's great about them. I think Trick or Treat Studios makes some really awesome stuff and I still buy from them even though Chris was a
d!ck to me because maybe as you said he's tired of being nit-picked to death by all the idiots out there.
All I did was try to point out to him the masks made in China were not very good quality compared to other masks they put out in the past. I also made sure to let him know the other makers in Mexico and the US were made well and very nice. But he probably already knew that because he became defensive and started calling me names like a child. The owner of Distortions Unlimited Ed Edmonds would have never treated a customer/ fan that way.

That was really cool dude, great vid. TOT are great I just wish they'd give us a heads up on new products so we can save for things and perhaps tone down some of their prices on their dolls, charge us when the start shipping not 5 months before say on a preorder but other than that they do make quality products for the most part. I have no issues with the Halloween masks some fans are just super nitpicky and they mod them themselves. For me I just want maybe a 3 or 400 dollar Chucky doll instead of 600 lol. I want to get the Plush Chucky and Ultimate, Plush is doable. The Ultimate will take time lol...

I got a TOTS Halloween kills mask. I love it, it looks so much like the actual screen used mask and for $90 CAD I am happy. I’m going to do a few touch ups on it make it look super real. It’s really neat.
