Jokes aside, I do get why a support comment would be deleted and it is... You're still contributing to the chaos in the comment section. You're feeding the trolls.
Well, since apparently this is still an ongoing topic (and because I _really_ can't help myself):
I'm not a fan of the deleted comments, either. I don't like seeing overtly negative comments, especially ones that are making fun of Elira (like those congratulating her continued sub loss), but _good lord,_ I don't want to see opinions being silenced either. I think that it's very counterproductive, very narrow-minded, and that it only makes Elira's fanbase look "pathetic" or "hostile" (to use some nasty words).
A lot of the negative comments are troll-ish, and they leave zero room for actual discussion. I'm not going to suggest that those "just here to laugh at you" kind of comments are in any way productive. _But regardless,_ this is how you get echo-chambers; this is how you get "comments disabled;" *_this is how you let an "us vs. them" mentality fester._*
And if you want things to healthily move forward for Elira (and yourselves, for that matter), then an "us vs. them" mentality is _not_ what you want.
If any mods (or whomever else deletes comments) are here and read this, then I highly encourage you: slow down and consider the future ramifications of what you're doing. Engage with the "antis" first and understand where they're coming from -- I think you'll find some are more reasonable than you give them credit for. And if it does come down to it, reply to them before deleting their comments, explaining _why_ it will be deleted.
You _cannot_ anonymously abuse power without making yourself look like a "bad guy," and you reflect extremely poorly on Elira & her community whenever you do so. "Abusing power/authority" is the *_exact_* mistake that Niji made, dragging Elira down with it. You're not helping her or anyone else by repeatedly making that same mistake.
Take the advice or don't -- I know no one here as asked for it. But please, at least consider it.
Everyone's perspective makes sense to them, no matter how much you may disagree with it.

Nah, I get it. In a lot of people's eyes, Elira isn't a great person. I _would_ suggest taking a more critical look at the info out there (the 4chan posts), but I try not to offer advice when it's not asked for, so by all means, ignore this bit if you want -- I've never been great at following the "who asked?" rule of thumb, anyway.
Oh dang, did the guy delete his own reply? Hey, if you're still around, never feel bad for apologizing! It shows a lot of humility, which is good (even if it might sting in the moment).
One point that I will repeat over and over and over again is that people just make decisions based on the information that they have at the time. If you've been going around and mass reporting or whatever (not saying you were, just using an example) -- well, I don't agree with that, but it felt like the best decision for you at the time (you had a legitimate reason).
You were totally valid in viewing others as "just another harasser". I'm glad you had a bit of a change of heart, though -- you're totally not alone in that!
