    What a sensible and honest video, your comment about swing speed and 9 degrees of loft is spot on.

    What a great tip per toe/heel ball position for the driver. Just tested this into my net and it's money!

    I love how these videos don't try to "tell me what I need to do," or "Stop doing this!" type of snake oil influencer videos. This is just to the point presentation of driving concepts that might help improve your driver. Thanks!

    You have a sub from me David. I appreciate your style of delivery - calm, gentle advice, easy to visualise swing thoughts rather than the frenetic delivery of some when they get in front of the camera. It's like they are performing an audition for something and it's distracting. Similarly you avoid the usual 'ok's, 'awlright's etc. You have a nice smooth speech delivery - like that swing at the end.
    I have also watched many videos on TH-cam and yours is the first I've come across that simply explains some of the physics and how that affects the outcome when combined with swing path etc. Makes so much sense to me now. Many thanks.

    What a great explanation of how close to stand to the ball - I have seen a lot of players look like they're setting up with the ball towards the toe of the driver but I assumed that people naturally stretched a touch on their downswing. Seeing that it is really a function of the ball being teed up makes this make a lot more sense!

    Thanks for explaining the theory David, you were describing my issues regarding 3 wood and Driver distances. I will be trying this out on the range today.

    I've watched a ton of golf videos. This is the first to explain how the chosen club is supposed to work.

    Wow! Tee height and the relationship to the sweet spot at address makes perfect sense but never considered it! Great help, thank you.

    It’s the centrifugal force on the downswing that throws the club further out but your reasoning for having it inline with the toe of the club while on the ground is good.

    “Don’t let the ego takeover…” Going to start hitting for placement and place less pressure on myself to hit for distance only.

    Hitting off the toe does not produce a draw. It produces a right fade. It’s like in a pool shot , hitting lift of ball produces left inglish thus ball spinning to right.

    • @TheResourcefulCoach
      @TheResourcefulCoach  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Because of the shape of the face and ball, when hitting off the toe the face opens, this opening action is counter balanced with the ball, causing it to draw. This is called ‘Gear Effect’

    Centrifugal force is what you are explaining. address on the toe and hit it center

      @bh5606 Just short of 14 minutes , too long ? Lol
      It was very informative , if you don't have 14 minutes to improve your golf then try tiddly winks pal ! 😂

      Any shorter would lose the great content - just use the pause if you want to break it down!
