"Any game is a miracle" SO TRUE. I never realized that until we finished Bo. Thanks so much for the video and the support. Yes it has been tough, but things are easier with players like you supporting us. Also, there is certainly coyote time in the game, so wasnt sure wha the dsiconnect was there. maybe we need to increase it?
The one thing I hate about this game is that the world isn't repared after the way too long final boss! When I have passed through the really depressing Celestial Realm and the Credits, Sakura City is still dark and the final boss is still available as a boss after I beated him.
Glad to see Turbo Kid getting some love. I think there are some things that haven’t worked out in Bo’s favor, hopefully it works out for them in the end.
The first time I saw a trailer for this game it IMMEDIATELY had my attention. Yokai thematics are something that I invariably love, and the game itself looked AMAZING, I would love to give it a try.
I just finished Bo a couple of days ago, and I loved it. The controls did feel a little off at times, but it was probably a skill issue from expecting it to behave more like Hollow Knight or the Ori games. My main ones were getting hit while trying to dash through things (especially during the final boss), and not being able to grapple consistently despite spamming the grapple button while the arrow was showing. But how much I enjoyed the rest of the gameplay and how beautiful it was definitely made it worthwhile. Also, for the fragile egg quest, I would make sure not to save at any of the checkpoints so I could quit the game and reload at the nearby fast travel spot if I needed to restart
My only problem with the game is that it’s no too long. I beat it 100% in only 16 hours. The music in the game wasn’t super cool imo especially with the bosses in the ice caverns. And the final boss was too repetitive for me and tedious. I hope there is a sequel in the future because I can see the potential that it could have. Just needs better music and more bosses. Also the bosses should be a bit harder I think. Ik it sounds like I don’t like this game because I’ve only said things that I don’t like. But I really like this game I really loved the movement and the grappling was so satisfying. I really can’t complain much about this game because it’s only the second metroidvania game I’ve played with the first one I played being hollowknight which was quite literally a masterpiece. All in all I give this game a 7.5/10. I can tell the game wasn’t meant to be super hard which I like because it’s a chill experience. Great game and I recommend.
My only issue is the final boss fight is too long and too much of a challenge. I'm sure those that have beat the boss will just tell me I need to get good, but I just feel like as an enemy it's too frustrating. I was able to beat every other boss this one boss was just too much.
I bought this game, whilst it looked amazing the POGO mechanic got old very fast, this could have been an amazing game but the POGO was a NOGO for a lot of players.
make an omamori build with +1 heath, attack speed and range, faster boiling, daruma half cost when boiling and daruma damage and give it a try. At first i was barely making it to the ice room and with that build i defeated him within a few tries.
@@Teo_Diakor lol that was almost my exact build, minus the Daruma omamori. Honestly final boss isn’t that hard, i just bought a reviving blessing from sakura city and beat it first try after struggling a bit. The ice phase is the worst, all those ice slabs get in your way. It’s just one of those bosses that would’ve been more fun as a normal boss, instead it’s a tedious boss with its 6 phases. It’s more of an endurance battle.
