In This video we have a Porsche Cayenne S in for repair & spraying on the drivers rear quarter panel and rear door
All went well until i decided not to blend the colour into the rear bumper and wheel arch mouldings, i took the gamble and it did pay off

Another good job. Not a fan of the peach colour. Don't mind a strong orange just not that one. Wonder if it's special order colour. I drive by a Porsche dealer everyday and see some odd colours but never that one.

very good work, I would be interested to know how long you wait between 1 and 2 coats of clear lacquer?
Thanks 🙏 it’s around 5 odd minutes, I go a clean my base coat gun out then put the second coat on
Time between clear can vary on temp, activator and manufacturer. Unless you are using the same stuff then a handy tip is to touch a bit of clear on the masked side. Looking for it to stick to your finger and pull off the tape but not be stringy. If its stringy then its still in flow and you will likely get a run. But for me its anywhere between 5-10 mins. Enough time to get kettle on clean base gun and swig a couple of mouthfuls of tea. Like Jay said it is routine😁 I don't change it.
May I ask what kind of clear and gun you are using?
On this job i used Mipa CC9 clear coat and Satajet x5500 1.2 O RP, all the paints used and spray guns are in the description on every video, Thanks for watching
