Clearly, he's the type who actually cares about kids and probably took the ice cream man job because he wanted to bring joy to children even though he was smart enough to build supercomputers that fit in a tiny space like the truck, and probably had some outside source of income that allowed him to afford the materials to build that technology (he had to have built and programmed it himself, any company getting a request like that from some random dude would probably have been confused at best and either just taken the money and given him garbage that looked fancy but did nothing, or ignored him entirely) and the werewolf museum thing he ran to try and warn other people about the dangers presented by werewolves. He's a selfless supergenius who wants nothing more with his life than to protect and bring joy to kids, and put his own life in harm's way MANY times to do so and dedicated his life to avenging a child he thought was killed. How is this guy not the hero?

My guess is that whoever wrote this slop wanted to play on the trope that appears in some werewolf movies where the dogs can sense if someone is a werewolf, so they start growling and barking to try to warn their owners of the impending danger, but I always saw that as a more generalized "paranormal danger" thing, like dogs have a sixth sense born of instinct rather than just some specific beef on werewolves for being... idk a hybrid species... So the equivalent of race traitors? Such a weird take on the "walker of two worlds story", the kid is already a WEREWOLF a walker of two worlds by default ffs, I know they want to have cute dogs to rip off Illumination and their low effort but easily marketable movies, but c'mon how crap like this get sequels?
It's almost like they were trying to copy what Stephen King did in "Sleepwalkers" with the cats being mortal enemies of the "Werecat vampires", but at least that movie gave us a cool final battle with the monster being killed by a swarm of cats.

I work at a movie theater and 100% Wolf played briefly during the pandemic when we did not have a lot of movies to show while my theater was still open. I remember going in to do "theater check", which is a job where I go into the theater to check and see if anyone is breaking the rules and if the picture/audio is playing fine, and I went in to 100% Wolf at the moment of the "pissing scene" and I thought to myself, "yeah this movie looks like crap".
It was open briefly in 2020. We had to close twice. Of course it was March that we closed, and then in summer we tried again and was briefly open again but did not open back up until sometime in 2021 and we've been open ever since.
I'm wondering if anyone was actually watching it. It's still rare to see many people in high budget movies where I live, like going to the movies is outdated.

The idea of werewolves being superhero-like is a concept that can work...we've seen it work before I mean that's Werewolf by Night, Big Wolf On Campus, and also Wolfsbane from the Marvel universe. Also how can dogs and werewolves are enemies when they're literally both canine?
There's also the Astounding Wolfman in the Invincible universe. And there was a concept for a werewolf series by the creators of Gargoyles a while ago. That would have been cool...
We're wolves(Google auto-corrected this, but I like it, so I'm not fixing it.), aren't real, but if they were, they'd more than likely avoid each other rather than be enemies. But, there has been a singular case where, supposedly, a Wolfman, which is similar to a werewolf but isn't the same creature type who would steal dog food but bring no harm to the dogs themselves, even going as far as distracting these canine with offerings to more easily get at their food. Life is fun, sometimes.
I mean irl dogs and irl wolves arent friends, especially guardian dogs and starving wild wolves. They could excuse it as dogs instinctively fearing wolves, and their immediate aggressiveness to wolves making the wolves not like them. Or, you can make it so they know the wolves arent ACTUALLY wolves, in a lot of stories animals can sense if someone is preternatural and dont react well, so dogs just dislike werewolves specifically and not wolves.

“I’m just gonna sprinkle in references to random entertainment products and see if that has any effect on how this movie does in TH-cam’s mysterious recommendation algorithm” yep. Haven’t watched this channel in like four years so that definitely worked.
There are lots of great movies that have tiny budgets. Godzilla -1.0, Saw are just two examples I can think of from the top of my head. I don’t really watch a lot of movies.
It fascinates me when bad movies do cliches for the sake of cliches without even really understanding why other movies do those cliches. Generally speaking, a show gives a kid protagonist a dead parent for three major reasons: to focus on their relationship with their living parent, to uncomplicate the story by having one less character to write, or to put them in a scenario where they lack, want, or befriend a parental figure. So they gave Dreamworks Zac Efron there a dead mom, but then just had him have a housekeeper as a protective, caring maternal figure and major character. The idea "just have the housekeeper be his mom" never even entered their minds, because they were so laser-focused on "give him a dead mom that's what other cartoons do" that they never even bothered to question it. Him having a human mom, and not being "pure" werewolf, could have even been the implied reason he was a weredog instead of a werewolf. Failing that, when they realized it was weird to give him a regular dog as a romantic interest, they could have wrote the housekeeper out completely and changed the girl dog into a older dog who lost her puppies and "adopts" him to give him a maternal figure. The thing about stories, is when you stop trying to force tropes and cliches and just let the story flow, a lot of the story elements will write themselves.
Yeah that's something I do notice when I think about it more is that there was so many aspects that were just randomly added and had really no purpose or more to it.
@@Office_chair It's actually a big problem I notice about a lot of movies nowadays, is they seem to care more about adding a character for the sake of having a specific character, or a plot device because it's cool, rather than telling a story. A big one I've gone off about many times is the casino sidequest in The Last Jedi. So they have Finn and Rose go to a planet and faff about because they have to find a hacker to get onto a First Order ship, because they really wanted to have that sidequest for some reason. However, Finn is ex-First Order and Rose is a ship mechanic: it would have made more sense to just have the two of them board the enemy ship and do it themselves, since I'd expect a former First Order soldier to know enough about them to sneak about incognito, and Rose to know enough about ship technology to be able to find and disable the device even if she knows nothing about it. If they weren't so obsessed with having several superfluous characters and a "fun" adventure, they could have shaved a good 45 minutes off that film and actually better developed Finn and Rose.
I actually learned a term for this sort of thing, where a group copies a set of circumstances in expectation of a particular result without understanding the underlying mechanism that lead to that result in the first place. It's called a Cargo Cult, named after the phenomenon of primitive tribesmen recreating colonist structures in their absence, expecting the same "gifts from the gods" to begin appearing again, despite the fact those colonists are no longer there to receive such shipments.
this could be explained for short , their source of inspiration is not creative imagination or life experience or real world refrence, its Other Movies. in effect they are making a cartoon out of a cartoon. this is terrible for any kind of art . there is also a major case of what i call Francest. where a franchise stops using the sources of inspiration i mentioned above and instead keeps using Itself and previous installments to make new stuff. which causes boring rehashes we see today. ring any bells ?
These types of movies make me wonder why few creators ever get creative with the premise of their films. Even if the movie they made sucks it would at least be memorably bad
Aussie here, I find the fact the kids don't have connection in the attic totally believable. Wifi sucks here, and more often than not you'll just have parts of the house with little to no connection.

It's just, well, the heroic stuff only really happens at the very beginning of the movie, while the rest of it boils down to a weird ass plot about the badguy werewolf teaming up with the crazy lady to get rid of all the stray dogs by turning them into wigs. I mean, a half-decent plot for the episode of a kid's show, I guess, but not the entire plot of a movie about freaking werewolves! :P
Yeah I don't know how they failed and made it this bad.... It's so bad that it's sometimes funny and definitely gives the 2020 2021 straight to streaming obscure movie.

The movie’s animation feels like if the animators behind Sing, made one of those merge and/or match-three mobile games. It literally looks like an advert for one of those. That’s how bad it looks.
I actually tried watching the series, and the first episodes were okay-ish, but then everything went down pretty quickly. Also, the dog friend eventually turns into a human girl, so yeah, the love interest kind of works. Still... Also, if the pink hair was initially white, why is still pink in the series? I always found that detail of his design very distracting.
It's most likely heavily funded by the government, like 99% of other movies and TV shows made here (Aus). That explains the unwanted sequels and whatnot.
in the end credits, it literally says it was funded by the Australian Government and New South Wales which makes sense since ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) is behind this

The idea of werewolves being superhero-like is a concept that can work...we've seen it work before I mean that's Werewolf by Night, Big Wolf On Campus, and also Wolfsbane from the Marvel universe. Also how can dogs and werewolves are enemies when they're literally both canine?
Not to mention there is a whole tabletop RPG called Werewolf: The Apocalypse...
There's also the Astounding Wolfman in the Invincible universe. And there was a concept for a werewolf series by the creators of Gargoyles a while ago. That would have been cool...

We're wolves(Google auto-corrected this, but I like it, so I'm not fixing it.), aren't real, but if they were, they'd more than likely avoid each other rather than be enemies.
But, there has been a singular case where, supposedly, a Wolfman, which is similar to a werewolf but isn't the same creature type who would steal dog food but bring no harm to the dogs themselves, even going as far as distracting these canine with offerings to more easily get at their food.
Life is fun, sometimes.
I mean irl dogs and irl wolves arent friends, especially guardian dogs and starving wild wolves. They could excuse it as dogs instinctively fearing wolves, and their immediate aggressiveness to wolves making the wolves not like them. Or, you can make it so they know the wolves arent ACTUALLY wolves, in a lot of stories animals can sense if someone is preternatural and dont react well, so dogs just dislike werewolves specifically and not wolves.
I'm Australian and I've never heard of this before. I didn't even know we had enough computers to make a movie like this.

@@vicvega3614 Occasionally a hurricane can cause a bit of mischief off the coast but it's not a huge deal. And we don't have tornadoes. I think the US Midwest has a monopoly on like 90% of all tornadoes globally, which helps you guys air-cool your crypto farms. Which is an unfair advantage tbh.

It fascinates me when bad movies do cliches for the sake of cliches without even really understanding why other movies do those cliches. Generally speaking, a show gives a kid protagonist a dead parent for three major reasons: to focus on their relationship with their living parent, to uncomplicate the story by having one less character to write, or to put them in a scenario where they lack, want, or befriend a parental figure. So they gave Dreamworks Zac Efron there a dead mom, but then just had him have a housekeeper as a protective, caring maternal figure and major character. The idea "just have the housekeeper be his mom" never even entered their minds, because they were so laser-focused on "give him a dead mom that's what other cartoons do" that they never even bothered to question it. Him having a human mom, and not being "pure" werewolf, could have even been the implied reason he was a weredog instead of a werewolf. Failing that, when they realized it was weird to give him a regular dog as a romantic interest, they could have wrote the housekeeper out completely and changed the girl dog into a older dog who lost her puppies and "adopts" him to give him a maternal figure. The thing about stories, is when you stop trying to force tropes and cliches and just let the story flow, a lot of the story elements will write themselves.
Yeah that's something I do notice when I think about it more is that there was so many aspects that were just randomly added and had really no purpose or more to it.
@@Office_chair It's actually a big problem I notice about a lot of movies nowadays, is they seem to care more about adding a character for the sake of having a specific character, or a plot device because it's cool, rather than telling a story. A big one I've gone off about many times is the casino sidequest in The Last Jedi. So they have Finn and Rose go to a planet and faff about because they have to find a hacker to get onto a First Order ship, because they really wanted to have that sidequest for some reason. However, Finn is ex-First Order and Rose is a ship mechanic: it would have made more sense to just have the two of them board the enemy ship and do it themselves, since I'd expect a former First Order soldier to know enough about them to sneak about incognito, and Rose to know enough about ship technology to be able to find and disable the device even if she knows nothing about it. If they weren't so obsessed with having several superfluous characters and a "fun" adventure, they could have shaved a good 45 minutes off that film and actually better developed Finn and Rose.
I actually learned a term for this sort of thing, where a group copies a set of circumstances in expectation of a particular result without understanding the underlying mechanism that lead to that result in the first place.
It's called a Cargo Cult, named after the phenomenon of primitive tribesmen recreating colonist structures in their absence, expecting the same "gifts from the gods" to begin appearing again, despite the fact those colonists are no longer there to receive such shipments.

this could be explained for short , their source of inspiration is not creative imagination or life experience or real world refrence, its Other Movies. in effect they are making a cartoon out of a cartoon. this is terrible for any kind of art . there is also a major case of what i call Francest. where a franchise stops using the sources of inspiration i mentioned above and instead keeps using Itself and previous installments to make new stuff. which causes boring rehashes we see today. ring any bells ?

Aussie here, I find the fact the kids don't have connection in the attic totally believable. Wifi sucks here, and more often than not you'll just have parts of the house with little to no connection.

It's just, well, the heroic stuff only really happens at the very beginning of the movie, while the rest of it boils down to a weird ass plot about the badguy werewolf teaming up with the crazy lady to get rid of all the stray dogs by turning them into wigs. I mean, a half-decent plot for the episode of a kid's show, I guess, but not the entire plot of a movie about freaking werewolves! :P
