Rear 1 notch is about 3 inches. Front remove all the upper and lower small torsion bars. I did this for many years before they ever made a dropped spindle for these. IT rides much smoother. they are kind of stiff with stock suspension. If your going lowered anyway you arent using the bus for any weight. It doesnt make it weak because there are notches in the trailing arms. so It IMO is perfectly safe. Simple Lowering method....You do need to cut off the stops though and or reposition them. 3 inches perfect in the front.
I never lower my busses anymore so I dont show videos on doing that. Just talk....Stock is best to me now.

It does sit good. And it was free. Down the road you may want to do the whole dropped/flipped spindle, narrowed adjustable beam, disc brake and straight rear axle conversion thing though

Yeah we definitely want to put disc brakes on eventually.

    G'day guys,
I think you've got the stance spot on.
I'm going to watch the video again and take screen shots for future reference.
So thanks for sharing ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

Love the videos. Nice usable height.. keeping my reduction boxes too so nice to see what can be done without much drama.

Great stuff guys worked a treat and on the first try! Any lower and you would need to narrow the front beam to stop tyre rubbing on the inner guards. If you have problems with the front tyres you can change to a 15"x175/65 but I don't think they make a white wall in the that size.

Removing the smaller torsion bars in front is fine. I drove my bus for almost 20 years that way. The only downside in my experience was the purists telling me I ruined my bud by lowering it🤣🤣🤣

How did you lower the back?

drop spindles. Any other way is too unsafe, and detrimental to ride quality. good luck dig the bus.
