I have used slip floats for years…After years of experimenting I use the H&H weightless floats too. My setup is much like yours but I use a 1/2 oz egg sinker for weight. Sometimes I’ll use a circle hook instead of a kahle. My setup is hook, 1.5-2’ 20lb leader, swivel, bead, weight, bead, float, bead, bobber stopper thread knot. I found that I can put the slip knot on braid if it is coated, otherwise I put 20lb mono 10-20 ft for knot to slide on. Can be a great combo for fishing around inshore rigs in LA and deeper holes and passes in the winter.
I just made a really funky slip bobber rig Saturday and then Sunday I threw afew finger size mullets. i was throwing my line out far. at one point my bobber creep all the way back to me and I was reeling the slack and next thing I knew it was getting slammed under. ended up with a 20in red drum 🤣 was my pb always caught them around 15-18inches

Hey bud. Could you give me a source for large floats. I'll be fishing live macks and eels. Thanks.
