14:42 That's fuckin' awesome man, with the really nice Johnny Depp collection. The only other ones I can think of is the DiD John Dillinger, and the Medicom Mad Hatter. You definitely can do that with other dudes like Harrison Ford, and a little Michael Keaton & Kurt Russell...but the king of _'how many iconic/cool characters can be made?'_ challenge definitely goes to Clint Eastwood. I've got plenty of Redman Toys Clint figures (including the unfortunate never happened Unforgiven figure that I paid full price for and they refused to give me my money back), but getting some of those Sideshow ones. That whole _Clint Eastwood collection_ line can easily end up going long past Clint's death. I'm like 100% sure he wasn't aware of all the other stuff, so it's nice he gets to see little dollies of himself before he rides off on a horse and slowly disappears. And I guarantee Sideshow will _never_ make a High Plains Drifter figure...not in today's totalitarian society.
Just got mine the other day, which boy, I don't know what the hold-up was cause I pre-ordered from the get-go straight from China. And it's _always_ a given if ordering from China these super sturdy, gorgeous 3rd party boxes are gonna have dings. Very unfortunate they have no concept of packing extremely expensive items well. And just like you, I'm totally over-the-moon with how damn beautiful this thing is. I keep going back and forth with looking at the Present Toys one (well technically the prototype), and this one is overall more accurate. Like all the different types of material, including the ribbing on the left leg. Or how the boots aren't asymmetrical, and it's all pleather (and plastic belts) with the Present Toys one. I mean I'm sure that one will be way less of a pain in the ass though. Besides that, the only thing I can see the Present Toys winning at is that bottom leg strap having the two rows of grommets. With not being a rich man in the slightest, not sure if I'll be able to (or want to) get the Present Toys version. Since they're working on the hair to make it more accurate, and you get their civilian look...it might be worth it for that. But do I love Edward Scissorhands _that_ much, I don't think so lol. And I still think overall this will be the definitive (standard lookin') version.
Ah, it's drivin' me nuts with that piece of plastic film still stuck on the name plaque lol. It's like you started to peel it off on one side, then said _naaaah._
Oh, so Mars Toys (I've heard of the name but have no idea lol) is doing a 1/6 Johnny as Willy Wonka, eh. Hm, makes me wonder if someone has made a Donnie Brasco. Like I think they have, but I don't think anyone's made their characters from Blow or Dead Man. But then you're getting into extra boring looking figures territory. The idea of a little ponytailed, indoor glasses having, fancy but not overly eccentric suit wearin' Court Johnny figure would be EPIC! It could come with a cardboard cutout of a resting bitch face (but also fake crying) Amber Heard. Man, I kinda miss watching that trail everyday lol. That was more entertaining than the OJ trial.
Hello mate, i was just wondering if you could explain exaclty what you did after you cut off the 4 mil seciton, did you grind down the edges inside? Is it something i could do with a scalpel also? I dont hsvr that tool. The mod actually takes this figure from an 8 to a 9 instantly
You could try a scalpel but it will be a little difficult to cut away from inside the neck. Drills also have file fittings that can do the same thing..Those 2 stoppers will need to be cut away to fit the head back on...good luck ,hope it works out for you..🤞
