The actions for universe mode are a fairly simple addition but they really make the mode much more playable. I’m hoping in years to come they’ll expand it with more cutscenes and maybe even some wrestler-specific ones.

The commentary in this game has improved drastically. They even call out more moves than past games. Still needs work, but a major step in the right direction
This is the main problem I have with the WWE 2k series and I can only imagine it’s incredibly difficult to get cool lines for all of the possible matchups but it’s so annoying hearing generic “superstar” quotes all the time. Like if I’m playing as randy orton vs John cena I don’t want to hear either of them referred to as “superstar”.

I don’t want to hear Cena or Orton or Brock or *insert big name star here* referred to as a superstar instead of their name especially not 5-6 times a match. It is a lot better this year however. One thing I noticed is that most rivalries concerning tag teams only effect 1 of the members of each team. So even though universe mode will book the rivalry as a tag team match. When you play,watch, or simulate the match its a singles match between the the two single tag team members involved in the rivalry. I have not seen a tag team rivalry match and story where it involves both members of both teams.
I did a loser leaves match with Ronda vs. Shotzi. For some reason they kept putting Ronda in title matches. So I edited her rating to what it should be 65. And kept booking her in matches 2 on 1 , 3 on 1. Michael Cole will say "usually Ronda's the one that makes her opponent tap" when you put her in a submission. Also commentary will mention shayna and Ronda formed their own version of the 4 horse women witb Maria Shafer and Jessamyn Duke. I hope they patch in stacked tables. Don't get why they removed that feature.

You are 100 percent wrong about the flaming table reflection tracing off of the superstar perk only being available on next gen consoles because I'm playing on PS4 and the flaming table reflection works just fine.
Did you know that the devs left in Toni Storm's entrance jacket? In the female crate a superstar in jackets it is in the last column about halfway down. It's a spiked jacket that has her name appear on the back when you go to colors. When I get home later I'll find out the exact location but it is there
Did you know you can set up ladder bridge on all sides of the ring at the same time. And when you break a ladder bridge you can have a new one from the same spot!
Actually yes but something I’m not a big fan is when you have a loser leaves match but in the universe mode it actually will actually be on the roster menu still assigned to a show.
Did you know they added the ability to have more than one body part be injured with the head and body icon? Also multiple people can have those icons where as in previous games it was only 1 person with only 1 icon!
I've played a dozen loser leaves and injury storylines. No one ever leaves or gets injured. And like every other Universe Mode. There are no cutscenes for title matches at the PPV, unless you alter it yourself, and then you don't get the news on the blowoff to your rivalry. The only thing that you get for every rivalry at a ppv is smashing the title rankings or something similar.

Its not broken. Its just not as user friendly as WWE2k19 and the previous games and it is glitchy. If you keep messing around in the tool and constantly adjust and change things. The options in the tool like lighting and pyro triggering/timing will start to glitch. And it even crashed my game once before the recent patches. I learned to work my way around the advance entrance options. If you have any questions let me know.
Did you know, that if you set a tag team action between the two rivalry it will give you a random star to team up for example edge and omos vs you and your rival star. And did you know thats sucks?

Did you know despite Candice Lerae not in 2k23 if you go to create a tag team and edit team entrance her and Indi Hartwell tag entrance is still in the game and still named the way Lerae and Indi Hartwell
So when I make an entrance using Triple H as a template. If I add anything it turns off his water and stage smoke effects. I was curious if you have a work around? Might make for good material. :)
I was playing the myrise for the women and I found out when you retain the titles from the Bella’s when you fight against them at clash of the castle, the announcer will announce winner and new tag team champions your player and tag partner.
Did You Know: Commentary also gets specific/unique when you fight in crowd, top of HIAC, and different parts of the backstage (catwalk platforms, bundled equipment boxes, parking lot)

the wrestlemania 31 preset was in 2k22 i have a good recreation that i use frequently as i love to replay matches from over the years and this area especially because i went to wrestlemania 31
Pity that when you hit finishers on ladder and goes through flaming table, the one who execute the move gets up like it was nothing (almost) and I also hate 2k removed the animations (since 2k20 maybe, I don't know) in OMG moment with the table commentary, when they hit the table, the wrestler who has done the move just gets up like nothing happened, feeling no pain. Example: RKO When you hit it in the game on announce table, Orton gets up from the destroyed table very quickly...in reality he usually hurts a little is back getting up slowly and you can see it on almost all the scenes where he hit a table Rko.

Did you know that 2K left out editing trio entrances in Universe Mode BY DESIGN? A simple feature from past games, which many thought was missing by mistake or because of a bug, was left out BY DESIGN. Below a statement from community discord. **Roster / Universe** > User submission: "The edit button for trio entrances in Universe mode doesn't exist, and because of this, trio entrances cannot be changed/modified for Universe." Currently, the option to edit trio entrances is disabled by design. We’re aware of the community interest in this feature and hope to support it in a future iteration of the franchise. Thanks for the feedback!
However, if you add a fourth member then you can edit the trio. E.g. Adding X-Pac to Imperium then you can move GUNTHER from Slot 1 to Slot 3 thus also allowing you to move Giovanni Vinci to Slot 1. After making changes to the trio via the workaround then you delete the temporary member from the stable.

Create arena is bugged out if you place a Titantron it won't stay where you put it also the titantron and apron digital board keep reverting to video after i just placed an image on it an Barrier logos don't show in game either.

Name Plates during entrances don't change. Ex: I added Dominik to The Judgement Day, but he still had his default NP. On the flip side I took Rhea out of JD and she still had her JD NP. That's a little disappointing.
Hey smacks, I'd really appreciate it if you could address the whole issue with Cody's theme in a future video, maybe even reach out to 2k so they could give us an explanation to why exactly is Kingdom locked behind Cody's entrance in his default attire. The majority of us have payed anywhere between 60 to 120 dollars for the game, so even if it's a copyright issue I think we are at least owed an explanation.

If the case is that 2k are too cheap to pay for a proper license of the song, then that's completely unacceptable! For sum reason Smack title matches are goung threw the rivals are there but for a championship wont show up and plus they kick out of my finishers all the time not sure wat to do

Is there actually a damage increase when slamming an opponent on a flaming table? I assume there is since we're using a finisher for it

Did you know that 2K left out editing trio entrances in Universe Mode BY DESIGN? A simple feature from past games, which many thought was missing by mistake or because of a bug, was left out BY DESIGN. Below a statement from community discord.
**Roster / Universe**
> User submission: "The edit button for trio entrances in Universe mode doesn't exist, and because of this, trio entrances cannot be changed/modified for Universe."
Currently, the option to edit trio entrances is disabled by design. We’re aware of the community interest in this feature and hope to support it in a future iteration of the franchise. Thanks for the feedback!
However, if you add a fourth member then you can edit the trio. E.g. Adding X-Pac to Imperium then you can move GUNTHER from Slot 1 to Slot 3 thus also allowing you to move Giovanni Vinci to Slot 1. After making changes to the trio via the workaround then you delete the temporary member from the stable.

I've seen this happen quite a few times now, hopefully it's something they can fix in the next patch

You can do rivalry actions in Superstar Mode btw. Superstar Mode is actually genuinely fun this year. Deserves more attention.
It’s awesome that you can do a loser leaves town match, but the cut scene after they lose is very disappointing as it’s the same cut scene we’ve seen for a regular match. They could have at least made it to somewhat special
Create arena is bugged out if you place a Titantron it won't stay where you put it also the titantron and apron digital board keep reverting to video after i just placed an image on it an Barrier logos don't show in game either.

Name Plates during entrances don't change. Ex: I added Dominik to The Judgement Day, but he still had his default NP. On the flip side I took Rhea out of JD and she still had her JD NP. That's a little disappointing.

Hey smacks, I'd really appreciate it if you could address the whole issue with Cody's theme in a future video, maybe even reach out to 2k so they could give us an explanation to why exactly is Kingdom locked behind Cody's entrance in his default attire. The majority of us have payed anywhere between 60 to 120 dollars for the game, so even if it's a copyright issue I think we are at least owed an explanation.

@@Megastar_Tye Honestly that's a BS reason cause pretty much all the songs in the game are copyrighted. If the case is that 2k are too cheap to pay for a proper license of the song, then that's completely unacceptable! I would understand if they were a small indie developer with limited resources, but they're a multi-billion dollar game publisher that makes millions of dollars in revenue per year! Say what you want about THQ, but at least we never saw such BS from them when they were around!

For sum reason Smack title matches are goung threw the rivals are there but for a championship wont show up and plus they kick out of my finishers all the time not sure wat to do

So it sounds like losers leave town match will force the loser to enter free agency and other shows can pick that wrestler up. If this is the case then I will have fun with universe mode this year
How do I select a normal entrance motion as a title motion? When selecting a title motion, I can only select superstar specific title motions.
If you change Damage CTRL's entrance motion you get all their trons and music. No official motion though.
