@@Toyotatech86 because when doing software updates it’s recommended to have at least 90-120 amps. The bench top charger is 30 amps and even says not recommended for programming.
i bought that snap on about 8-9 months ago based on your video and i love it actually just got done using for today. one thing i don’t like about it is the battery is dead dead you have to hook up a jumper because the charger won’t recognize, rare when it happens but no big deal. also i program all the time with it no issues!!
I got the Snapon, I do Toyota software update recalls all the time and it works amazing.
Careful they are only 30amps and not designed for updates or programming.
@@Enrightauto why do you say that? I’ve never had an issue with it.

I have a Clore PL2320, these look a lot nicer than my $105 tool. For storing in a box/locker the snap on looks like a winner.

Glad you like it! I wouldn’t program with it though. Playing with fire
I have one also. I think it is awesome. Really happy with it. I hook it up anytime in doing electrical or diagnostic.
Same!
That is great to hear about the long leads for the topdon. I have their js3000 jump pack and the cables are very short.
Yea anytime I can’t reach with the snappy I grab the topdon for sure. They both really are great
I had to ask a stupid question, but what's the benefit of these vs. a CTEK battery tender that will do a recharge and reconditioning of a battery?
Not a stupid question. These are essentially the same thing as a ctek from what I can tell just different brands
