I just got this from my tool guy, it’s a great little unit. We get a lot of cars that sit a lot in, a lot of classic cars too, including my own, so this unit has been beneficial for me.
@Enrightauto I'm a Truck mechanic for Merc here in England. Change alot of batteries on Merc trucks. And when New batteries are sitting on shelfs for 4 months they drop SOH. So when telling the ecu it's new batteries it will only charge them to the SOH it was wen fitted. So i always use this to charge them to 90% + then tell ecu new ones fitted. Brilliant video BTW
Yea, look into topdon they make one that goes up to 90 amps. It’s small as well. www.topdon.us/collections/battery-service/products/tornado-90000 Currently sold out but a great charger/maintainer 15% off if you use code enright15 as well
I enjoyed seeing these demonstrations..I bought the toaster looking jump box ( snap on ) I hate the cable hanging system it has..hoping to figure a better way for them..Thanks..
@@gilmansgarage6341 ahh ok yea I have one of those too. I’ve not had any issues with my cables. I just run them around the base and the clamps stick to the side. But someone with a 3d printer could probably make you something
@@Enrightauto yes that's how wrap around cables..then they seem to want to slide a little off the bottom , kinda falls under the unit when setting it down..but it's ok , just not ideal system to me 😂
can the eebc30a12v be used to recondition and charge batteries in golf carts? Do the batteries need to be reconditioned individually or all 6 at the same time? Thanks, Ken Brand
Nope never seen that before. Some batteries take a really long time to charge up. Are you selecting the correct battery or changing the amperage to see if that changes it? I’m assuming you have but always gotta ask
@@Enrightauto I’m charging a vehicle battery at 15 amps. It was on for about 3 hours . Should I crank it to 30 and give it more time? Also Thankyou for the reply .
@@Knoluvv 3hrs isn’t very long. Some batteries need longer. You may actually need to drop it down to 2amps. The 30amps isn’t for charging technically it’s for stable power to diagnose vehicles

Yea they are super nice!
@@Enrightauto Work great for my project cars I have sitting around in the winter time
Did show how or what mode to do dead battery as the ad said you can bring dead battery back cheers
Brought this the other day. Its brilliant!
Yea they are amazing. Still love mine nothing but good things to say still.

What's the price, and where to purchase?
Good to see realistic use have you tried to charge a battery that's completely wiped out?
Yes I have works good obviously if the battery isn’t trashed. I’m not sure I would rely on it for a lot of completely dead batteries
Wish they made one like this but for programming and software updates I hate the big brick one I have

Great video! I was on the fence about buying it. Thanks for your review.
Thanks for watching!
Been eyeing this for awhile but I got a good deal on a repo unit yesterday from my mans😬

Yes is works on 6 12 and 24v batteries
Been looking at this or the Noco 10amp charger. Do you use it for programming at all, if so how does it do?
No can’t use it for programming it’s only 30amps you need at minimum 90amps for programming some bmws require 100 amps
Does it jump start vehicles like a regular jump pack two
No, it has to be plugged in so wouldn’t be convenient for that anyways. I use a noco for jump starts or the big jump pack from snap on
I would be interested in this, would it work on a diesel with 2 batteries? And can you leave it on overnight?
I've charged volvo trucks with 4 batteries with it
Hi can you use it the charge EFB battery’s?
Not sure but the link for the tool are in the description
Would i be able to start a car with bad battey in it?
Yes but that’s not what it’s designed for
Do you still like it or are you still using it
Still love it and use it weekly.
I got one and one two batteries I’ve charged it stays at 95% and finishing , it never goes to 100 . Do you know anything about that ? Thsnkyou

Yes it automatically does it
