@@matthewavery2934 In the 2000s, it was considered safe to have a broken truck still run despite the 2009 Tacoma incident. Around 2015 they got rid of the crazy destruction, reduced the amount of cars, quit building unique tracks, stopped painting the tracks with cool designs, and a number of other things. Now the drivers aren't even allowed to go into the stands and give fans souvenirs anymore. Nobody makes signs anymore. They stopped giving the fans what they wanted to see. 2024 is the best modern season in a while but if they would add all the stuff back that they used to have, FELD would make a bunch of money because fans have been deprived of it for so long.
when monster jam was badass. even watching today it gets me hyped. i wish monster jam would try again like this. these shows were awesome, commentators too!
I had a DVD set of this World Finals and it happened to be the first World Finals I've ever watched. To this day this is still my most favorite Monster Jam World Finals ever.
Tom Meents jumping his own truck has to be the most iconic moment in the history of monster jam. Whenever I think of monster trucks that’s the first stunt I think of.
This doesn't get talked about enough I totally understand more Andersons are driving now but just bring back The Legend have the red pickup body style be a truck
I miss the crushed cars. I wish that the crushed cars could be brought back to the monster jam sport like the 2000's, since the 2010's and 2020's there has been less cars or none at all anymore unfortunately
Wow, I remember having a blast, seeing all those freestyle highlights on Disc 2 of the Monster Jam World Finals 7 2-DVD when it first came out in 2006! Cool freestyle runs, but it's crazy how Del Scorcho, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Monster Mutt lost their fiberglass parts early on in their freestyle runs. However, it's cool how Frank Krmel, Randy Brown and Charlie Pauken made the best of all of it. It's similar to how Sky Hartley made the best of things at World Finals 1 when his monster truck, Sting, lost its entire fiberglass body when he made his first freestyle move. Also, it's a shame Hot Wheels could not freestyle at World Finals 7 as a result of a mechanical problem in the semi-finals of racing, but at least its driver, Neil Elliot, made up for it by setting up the second Maximum Destruction for Tom Meents' most incredible freestyle start in history and driving it in the freestyle encore. Thanks for the wonderful nostalgia!
Old monster jam: You got 3 broken shocks? As long as it drives off you can keep going I don’t care. New monster jam: you got a scratch on your truck? Shut him off. You’re done.
This goes to show how awesome monster jam was back then not to mention letting trucks run with broken tires popped tires and nowadays the the product has been watered down so much
Read through the comments on these old videos it’s so clear that 95% of the fan base is in agreement that this time frame is when the sport was at its best. The way feld has disgraced this sport is absolutely pitiful. Hopefully one day another company will somehow come into ownership of the brand and bring it back to its roots, a motorsport based on destruction and entertainment, as opposed to a toddlers show about big twucks
This> Everything about new monster jam is so "boring" Even some of the drivers (like botj of the Anderson boys) want obstacles back so it's not just us
@@bryanlenihan5012 exactly. The drivers can only say so much because they don’t wanna have any issues within the company but many have expressed that they prefer the way things were in the old days compared to now

Not tryin to be one of them people but this was so much better than what it is now
I really don't get why they don't go the extra mile anymore.

Golden days of monster jam
Nah, that was the 90's
12:19 that Anderson throttle rhythm is like music to my ears
Monster Jam’s golden age 2000-2014.
i would say more like 2003-2014
I’d say monster trucks in general best years were 1989-2014
Tom Meents made so many childhoods, including mine, it ain’t gonna be the same without Tom
I like how they have been posting throwbacks. They know they miss this era of Monster Jam. The golden days.
when monster jam was badass. even watching today it gets me hyped. i wish monster jam would try again like this. these shows were awesome, commentators too!
This era is GOATED🐐🐐
My favorite part is the Avenger jump.
Ken Stout: YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Monster Jam! This is one of my all-time favorite World Finals!
Now this is the Monster Jam I grew up with when I was a kid.
Ah the best times for Monster Jam. First world finals I ever saw as a kid.
Ah yes, the holy work of Ken Stout. Lord of the Tire Rod
back in the good ol days when you could drive with a broken suspension instead of getting shut off when a tire pops
And let’s not forget the destruction with all the cars and motor homes
I had the DVD replay of this World Finals as a kid, I watched it on repeat so much, the good days of Monster Jam. I miss those days
I had a DVD set of this World Finals and it happened to be the first World Finals I've ever watched. To this day this is still my most favorite Monster Jam World Finals ever.

First World Finals I watched on TV. God I miss these days.

Man I miss those guys, all of them.

Scott will always be the voice of Mobster Jam for me.
Miss this old monster jam
Back when they didn't have 15 of the same grave digger trucks
This doesn't get talked about enough
I totally understand more Andersons are driving now but just bring back The Legend have the red pickup body style be a truck

This is the Monster Jam of my childhood! I love the 2000s!
Same thing here. Born in 2002
@@OGNoah25 Cool. I was born in 2003.
It is a little bit better than 2003
I def watched this when it was shown on SPEEDTV
those old Monster Mutt zoomies are GOATed, one of the best sounding trucks ever in Monster Jam

Ahh yes. WF6. One of the two best world finals in monster jam history! (the other being WF9)
7*
5:14 rest in peace, Tony Farrell
These trucks were so much more delicate... how technology has improved
This brings back the memories!
R.I.P Tony Ferrall my favorite monster truck driver growing up
Severly underrated he almost won a WF freestyle title
One thing that I miss more than anything, was having the Dicast grave digger with the Green Ghost that I was obsessed with, man I miss those days
This goes to show how awesome monster jam was back then not to mention letting trucks run with broken tires popped tires and nowadays the the product has been watered down so much
The old unrestricted noise
Cool
This was "Del Scorcho" ONLY world finals appearance. It has been in it since
Throw back? You mean before Disney ruined a motor sport and turned it into Barney
I wish King Crunch was still around
...imagine driving the superman as a real chad!
yep back when monster jam was entertaining. now if a truck loses a bolt the officials shut the trucks off
This is monster jam I miss. I was grave digger fan. So I disliked max d back then. Crazy the stuff he do
All the destruction.... What this sport was made from. Now it looks like a money hungry mom concert
Total facts
It used to be a legit motorsport before all the pointless crashing came in.

What show was that had monster mutt have the same style of fire as us afterburner in Jacksonville 2007
so now you guys are re posting videos that everyone has seen?
