Sounds good until the eggs start hatching that you don't see under all the leafs. When you get the larva's in the stems you might as well kiss the plant goodbye. I'm happy for you that you can sit in your garden and wait for the bugs to come to suck them up. I wish I had the time to do that. Good luck. Green ways always turn into spray ways when people wake up and see the light.
You might want to put some DE in the vaccume tank and leave them in there for a spell.

I do check the underside of the leaves daily for eggs. I have found that packing tape works best to remove the eggs without damaging the leaves.
