I'm glad that they are bringing these games back. And it would make since, seeing how easy it is to get these games online for free without the need of having a beefy computer to play them. But I hope that sega can add widescreen support. Similar to how Daytona USA was like. That would be very nice.

Oh well, but a compilation of that SONIC GAME with GOLDEN AXE 2 DEATH ADDERS's REVENGE, Rad Mobile, Thunder Blade, and a bunch other SEGA Arcade games ya never see on a collection.
Tentatively, it looks like they didn't muck up the VF2 assets like with the Ages release from way back, so that's awesome. Shame about the lack of excessive Pepsi advertisement in Vipers, but you can't win all of them. Hoping there's also a PC/Steam release planned, and hopefully this leads to an eventual re-master of Fighters Megamix. My USB Saturn pad craves challengers.

She was supposed to be in Sonic the Fighters, being based off of the Fighting Vipers character, but was scrapped before the game was released. There is still some left over data of her in the original game, as well as several different versions of Robotnik (one in his tank, another on foot, the list goes on and on.) Of course, they were only accessible by hacking into the game. Hope this clears some stuff up!

I just hope that these versions are based on the real arcade versions like Daytona USA on XBLA/PSN was. Also I'm hoping for online play. But seriously Sega why did it take you guys 6 years to come out with this stuff? I've been asking for Model 1, 2 and 3 arcade games on XBLA/PSN from the very beginning and you're bringing them out now at the end of the console cycle when we still don't even know if we'll be able to transfer our XBLA/PSN games to the next consoles.

These rereleases will help get them back up on their feet. In the meantime, try out some of their newer games like Hell Yeah and Rhythm Thief, they're both wonderful.

Those games were great indeed, and I would like to see more of that from SEGA. But looking at SEGA's current line up, it doesn't instill much confidence, with only three new games, and eight re releases right after JSR, NiGHTS and SA2. At this rate SEGA's backlog of games will dry up very fast, with not enough new games coming out. They simply won't be able to maintain this kind of business , despite their vast backlog.
It seems that SegaSammy have 2billion in reserve and are generally trading ok. It was just software development that was losing money so they cut back on it. They just bought Relic Entertainment for 26.6 million.

Honey/ Candy would fit Dead or Alive perfectly. And they could release Fighting vipers style armour for all the Doa cast.
They're just trying to bring back some old series. Which is a good thing, seeing as it was looking like they only liked Sonic any more.
