Something about your enthusiasm and attention to detail combined with long format is just so good. They really do deserve to rehaul of the parks, please do that content.
Lego in Germany is cheaper whilst Germany taxes it as educational toys. Therefor it would make sense to make Germany your biggest Lego outlet. Nice to see someone from a large country considering a Paris - Günzburg a day trip. Being from a small country myself, that is a large trip to me. It's nice to put that in perspective and perhaps travel some more myself more often.
@@bobsrandomchannel7589Bionicle is technically Technic, isn't it? Ok, maybe even 30s in the name of fan service. Been rooting for Chris since Lego Masters!
Do you think the medieval figure pieces will be there in summer too? I'm worried that I'll go there wanting to buy an army and then get disappointed when i find out they don't sell those pieces anymore :/
I was in Billund in 2014 for Lego Family Days. After touring all the factories, we went to the park on our last day in town. They had the Bionicle ride! I THINK it was pilot themed there... The biggest difference was you could "program" your ride. You could choose a sequence of buttons at a ATM-esque station and it would print a card that you would give to the ride operator. We asked the young woman at the programming area what the best sequence was. She replied with a series of numbers and said "It is called ehleetleseek." I looked to my Danish brother-in-law for a translation. He looked as confused as I was. The operator spoke a little more slowly and said "a little sick." Naturally, we went with her combo... It DEFINITELY lived up to its name! I live in San Diego, and I MAY be misremembering, but I seem to remember them having something similar at some point on the west side of the Medieval area quite a while ago. I think there were two or three machines under an open, wooden "shed". There was just a fenced-off, bare foundation last time I went. Does anyone else remember... OR share my delusion about this?
This video made me reconsider going to the Lego House ... If I can only go to one place, either this one or Lego House, what would you recommend? I wanted to go to the Lego House just because it's where it all started and it's a museum for Lego's history. Plus there seems to be Lego House exclusive merch. That said this video made me want to buy so many things and I'm a sucker for merch and minifigures. This place is easier for me to go to as well over Denmark. I'd love to hear people's thoughts on this.
I once went on a day train trip in Europe and was so worried because the day before the trains were all shut down. We ended up actually taking an earlier train back because we were worried about missing it all entirely so I understand how you feel. It's stressful planning a train trip with connections.
Correction.. back in 1980 to 84, the 48x48 was offered in green, grey, and the purge shot clear units in limited supply. They offered 72X72 or was it 76x76, i gorget which, but inhwve them from my childhood.
What kind of parts were missing to complete ninjago minifigs? I didn’t see a ton of torsos but maybe they were on another wall, and I’m hoping to go and get a ton of figures but maybe it won’t be plausible to get complete ones
I wish that I had access to that much Lego Bricks and colors to create my customs. Especially certain purple pieces right now. I’ve only been to the Legoland in Carlsbad, California and that was back in July of 2000 and I had a VIP pass and I got to display my custom Optimus Prime Lego head that I had built and brought with me. They let me display it for two days while I was visiting. Now my custom Optimus Prime is a much larger bust that stands 3 feet and 7 inches tall by 3 feet wide. I even added some of my old Lego lights from 1987 to light up the eyes inside of Optimus Prime’s head. Even though it’s still not complete I still want to finish the arms and legs and make it close to 6-7 feet tall when it’s completed. I just completed the Autobot Matrix Of Leadership about a week ago and now I need to modify the inside of Optimus’s chest so I can display it inside of it like it was shown in the original Transformers The Movie when you first see the Matrix Of Leadership back in 1986.
Incredibly late, but what happened to the video where you and Robert reacted to one of the episodes of Lego Masters? I thought it was super fun and was gonna rewatch but I can't find it anywhere
I'm comparing prices on the animals between what you can get in Legoland Germany versus online and prices seem 20% cheaper than Lego Pick a Brick. It's clearly a better deal but once you factor in travel costs, time, and possible additional luggage costs my enthusiasm around this "deal" doesn't quite match yours. Personally, I'd rather go visit a castle. However, it's fun to see what they offer, and I appreciate your video.
honestly if you are already planning a trip to germany/europe then it’s an amazing deal. the amount of parts in bulk there is just insane and the deals are crazy especially for the mini figures. 2 dollars per figure is just so good i really want to go there but it would have to be for an all around trip in europe because i can’t justify going to germany just for a lego store, even though i want to so bad
Hello there could you maybe do a closeup of your Ninjago figure display you did it for the villains but not for the ninja s could you do that that would be really cool
I am soooo lucky that i live in czech republick. We are wisiting legoland every year, we stay there 2 days at the legoland holiday village, and have lot of fun😊
In Minifig Factory there is a limit of 30 complete minifigs per person per day. Cashiers should ensure that these rules are followed, especially in Germany, where people are very strict about rules. Same rule they have in Brick Factory. 100g of one type of brick per person per day. Sometimes the cashiers allow this and sometimes they are very strict. I dont understand that.
In Germany it's not so much about being to late for your train, but the train being late screwing up your connections. German trains a notorious for their delays...
I have to say I was a bit disappointed when I visited this store last summer. It was in the end 3 times cheaper to get bricks from the Pick A Brick wall in my local Lego Shop, than in Legoland... Of course the local PAB wall has less choice. But I really thought it wouldn't make that much difference in price.
For most bricks yes, 1kg is 100 €. For some special pieces, like plant parts or printed tiles there is a limit if 100g per person. And big parts, like boats or base plates, and animals, it's per part (with limits how many you can buy)
WoW! Right? The legoland in Florida notable things, food was Terrible, the rides are for little kids but the miniature village was worth the ticket price alone.
Lego doesn't really own any Legolands :( Legolands are a property of Merlin Entertainments - and Lego only partially own Merlin Entertainments .. So, don't blame Lego for the design of Legolands :( But cool video, nice to see you enjoyed your trip to Europe - now I wanna go to Germany :p
Great vid. But *passing that fast* over brick bins is _useless_ as we can't clearly see anything, even when _pausing_ the video. So maybe next time film less elements but make better clear shots.
37:00 Yeah this is a whole situation in enough of it self LEGO needs to do smth about this. The good old days of plastic bags...not mindlessly qr code scanning -.-
Why dont Lego just sell the CMF like any other set, WITH THE PICTURE OF WHAT YOU ARE BUYING ON THE BOX. That way if one or two are selling out you can make more or just make more of one or two that you know are going to sell. I do not like this idea of promoting gambling to children, blind chance is just a bad idea.
Great video!!!, could be very usefull, I dream about beeing a LEGO DESIGNER, I hope to meet you some day and show you my work, is in my channel too. I would like to give you a gift and would be great to hear that you like my content. You could have your own lego designer!!!

18:30 how to spot a american shopping, if u drop something put it back.

Something about your enthusiasm and attention to detail combined with long format is just so good. They really do deserve to rehaul of the parks, please do that content.
For anyone who's ever wondered why German stores on Bricklink and BrickOwl have such high stock levels, this store is why.
6:50 nice reference to walking down your own staircase backwards and with the camera following you 😂
Keep up the good content!
legoland DEFINITELY has a problem, and a video on it would be super interesting
6:41 - Duck proving that he can do it internationally and on any staircase
The start of this vidoe is a nice summary of the raliability of middle Europe train system... :D
I occasionally go to that Lego land and had no idea that was the biggest brick store

Next time you go, can you spend a few mins showing us the Technic section?

That 48 x 48 Green base plate was on the original carousel set, sir
That was regular green, not bright green like this one!
Would love to see what they have for Translucent pieces that are hard to get. At the 19:15 mark those are my favorite parts, translucent clear.
Great video. What an adventure. Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.

Do your ship the Lego parts home or purchase another suit case?
If there was a place like this in the US, I would drive there all the time no matter where it was.
I second that. We need a huge Lego parts store in the states.

Seems like you went for the classic full Deutsche Bahn experience. Welcome to Europe, and "senkyou for traveling with Deutsche Bahn!" 😅
I live close to Germany, but never knew this shop existed? 😱
They have a VR roller coaster at Legoland Malaysia, it was awesome!
I've never heard of Model Shop before. So do the Model Shops in California/ Florida offer Q-parts?
Bionicle in 2025 feels so good
