I recently got one, and its an interesting design. Its fairly big but feels light in the hand, it has a relatively thin handle but grips well in the hand. Its a thick blade that tapers to a thin point, and that probably plays a part in how good the knife feels to hold. I have not tested it out properly but I get the impression that this is the kind of knife that can be used for pretty much any task as long as you are respectful of its design. It thins out towards the front so if you treat it like an axe it will fail. Treat it well and its going to last.

Those are micarta scales. I had it with guayacan scales. The knife is so well balanced that seems light in the hand, but it weights over a pound. I traded it for an Esee 5, but gonna buy another , in any of the many version it comes( grooved or plain wood, micarta, stag scales or stag handle with hidden tang.)

Yup that's what it is but he's not a real knife guy ,so he's still learning 😊

The handle is micarta....fabric soaked in a resin to make it hard, very good against the elements. The blade is N695 bohler steel.

It does look good but it's not nearly as good as the Cold Steel Trailmaster especially in O1 Tool Steel. 💯
