People forget Kintaro is still a baby. He still has his little white butt tuft. 🤗 He acts and plays like what he is, a very young gorilla kid with joy and energy to burn.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I hope Momotaro begins to play more with Kintaro. There are some wonderful videos of him playing with Gentaro at that age, they were adorable together ♥️
Despite his naughty behavior, Genki still dotes on Kintaro. We used to see Gentaro initiate play with Momotaro all the time when he was 5-years-old. I Wonder if we'll see this increase in play with his father from Kintaro in the near future.
When will Kentaro lose his little white bunny tail?😂😂😂❤🦍 he is a bad baby sometimes, he seems to be small for his age and still has his baby tail. Mommy Genki still cares for him as if a baby most times. Except for breast feeding him. They are so funny and entertaining to watch. Love them all .
Poor Momotaro One minute alone in the enclosure when in comes the adorable Genki who is going to change his life forever She's a feisty no nonsense girl with a generous & loving heart & over time she becomes both his "mother' & his partner, from her he begins to find the courage to be comfortable in his surroundings, to trust his keeper's & how to be "the boss", she learns of his hatred of being dirty & delight's in throwing mud, stone's & sometimes poo at him, usually to calm him down & break him out of his mood. The arrival of Gentaro was heaven to Genki, she had someone to cuddle & fuss over & was getting ready to enjoy it when sadly to save him he was taken & raised by his human keeper's. Although they got to see each other everyday a lot of her natural mothering instincts were lost to Gentaro, but Momotaro certainly benefitted of all her excess care, love & attention. As Gentaro grew & Momotaro gained confidence father & son became best friend's, through baby Gentaro & under Genkis gentle care Momotaro was able to have the childhood he missed out on by not having a father, he learnt to be a good strong & encouraging parent who was made capable by the comforting presence of his beloved Genki & some awesome dedicated keeper's... Anyone who sees the video of Momotaro's reaction to the cries of Kintaro on the day he was born can see exactly Momotaro's true nature & his devotion to Genki, he stands clutching Gentaro & looking anxious as he knows something is happening, when Kintaro's baby cries ring out Gentaro understands immediately & gets excited jumping up & down, Momotaro is soon as excited as his little son & it's a joy to see. Through Gentaro's childhood lesson's & Kintaro's infant life Genki's importance to" her boys" is clear & Momotaro learns how to be a silverback, how to relax around his family, how to enjoy the togetherness & company of a group & to have fun. Genki learns the ancient art of suggesting ideas to him while making him think it was his idea all along, Gentaro learns how to share, how to play gently & becomes an enchanting & loveable big brother & hero to baby Kintaro... It's Kintaro to ultimately gain's the most, brought up in safety, loved dearly, spoiled endlessly, & watched over by his very capable & loving family he's a kind, thoughtful, playful, sociable, curious, brave & intelligent young gorilla with a good start in life. The Momotaro family were meant to be together, they've grown, learnt & suffered together but mostly they've had a good life & become a strong & loyal family unit. I think Genki realizes Gentaro has lost interest in playing with Kintero and is trying to play with Him more. Kintero is so Chubby 😂I don’t know how He moves so fast 😂
I've seen other young gorillas behave the same way. Lope with his mother Ozala. Then Ricki with Momomko. Even Kiyo with his mother Nene and Ai. Male gorillas seem more attach to their mothers than female, especially when there is not a lot of playmates. Kiyo and Ricki play with their dad a lot.

Genki ist (wird es immer sein) nicht nur ihre Mutter, sondern auch ein Weibchen, das sie (a) dominieren und mit dem sich (b) auch paaren wollen ((a) siehe Riki/Momoko in Tokio, (b) siehe Kyomasa/Nene in Nagoya). Je nach Alter und Hormonstatus (Testosteron-Pegel) wird die eine oder andere Perspektive situativ dominieren. Da Genki inzwischen eine erfahrene Mutter (wenn auch ein *sehr* "nervöses Huhn") ist, wird sie, auch wenn es anstrengend sein wird, mit Kintaros Verhalten klarkommen.

Eu só espero que os responsáveis pelo zoológico,,nós mostre onde o GENTARO vai morar,,tem o vídeo de quando trouxeram o MOMOTARO aí,, realmente foi uma engenharia ,,ele adentrar em um lugar diferente,,mas o carinho dos responsáveis ajudou muito ele a adaptar,,vi um guarda com uma espingarda na mão,,pensei,,imaginem o então MOMOTARO tentar escapar,,com certeza,,a espingarda é de sonífero,,por favor avisem onde o GENTARO vai morar😂😂😂
Gentaro belongs to Chiba zoo in Japan since birth. There is also speculation Kintaro also belongs to Chiba zoo as well. The enclosure is not ready. Chiba already has Monta and Lara as Gorillas, perhaps these 2 will be relocated?
@@theresapennetti3986 relax, gorillas in there nature can be aggressive the whole troop will be fine. The zoo has their best interest at heart, afterall they Kyoto zoo took Genki back when she was at Uneno zoo starving herself to death and biting her fingers off. I have faith this zoo will do the right thing. We only see snipets of their entire day.

@@theresapennetti3986 get REAL! Educate yourself! Momotaro was lucky to get Genki, she was paired with Gon before Momo. There is a lack of female gorillas in Japan. No other country will send their females. Momo is lucky to be with Genki. Momo would be a forever bachelor!

You can see how Momo really is fond of Genki when they sit together communicating non verbally. He really is dependent on her, I think. 🥰

Why has genki lost so much weight?
During the summer time, Genki tends to lose her weight.
At ueno zo, she had hard time. This is another story. Lost until half of her weight.

Mama needs another baby!! Could she have another one or is she getting to be to old
Genki is 37 years old; Momoko at Ueno had a baby last year at age 39. So not impossible, but I think Genki's health should be seriously considered.
