I'm blown away. I've screwed this up more times than I can count but I'm now in the process of casting on 100 stitches as if I've done this for years. Thank you!
First try seemed wonky to do but it held held up after knitting 3rows. I went to pull it out...not easy and i dropped a few main color stitches. I will practice again. Just my usual learning curve. I will master this. Great video!
Getting the hang of this! Thank you, I do like this method more than knitting stitches from the chain. I don't know why but I am so awkward using a crochet hook, always have been. I'm rather ambidextrous but the hook feels strange in either hand.
Definitely not the easiest or fastest, just the most traditional. Easier is the invisible provisional CO. Even easier is casting directly onto a circular needle cable. No need for a crochet hook. Check them out!

I love tutorials like this even if I am comfortable with some things it is still nice to see a reminder. Thank you!❤
I love this, all the other tutorials I’ve seen have you pull the waste yarn after putting each stitch onto the needle. I like this so much better.
Great video with clear instructions. Thanks !
Excellent instructional video. Thanks you!
I like doing this way of provisional. It is basically using a crochet chain, but puts the needle into the back loop right away.
Thank you for such a clear tutorial! I have watched many videos on the crochet cast on, and yours is the first one that's actually worked for me.

I love your TH-cam Channel
Perfect - because if I am in doubt this is the one that I MUST NOT unravel if it happens to look nice in one of my "design as I go" projects 🥰💪🥰
