The SD888 will really compete with the A15 coming in September and if the A13 matches the SD888 it shows how much work is needed for Qualcomm to catch up? I have an iPhone XS Max and it is still super-smooth, it has aged pretty well and if you keep your phone 3-5 years then I think iPhones will serve you best in the long run (I still have 6-year-old iPads doing the rounds and they seem faster than they were at launch!
I don't think that is Qualcomm only that need to catch the A15 performance, but the android also needs improve a lot to catch the ios optimization. But that is just my opinion.

These speed test videos are kinda nonsense. I have a Samsung s8 and a s20 ultra and I dont noticed much difference when loading apps on both devices. Unless putting them head to head but on the daily basis hard to notice.

3:10 iPhones have nvme hence are swifter when loading is concerned. Looks like android phones will lag in this department until they get another iteration of ufs which by then apple will leapfrog yet again.

That’s an abnormal low multi score for the iPhone 11 I get at least 3500 on mine, it’s probably due to thermal throttling

Switched from pixel 4a5g back to iPhone 12 and my mom and sister has the iPhone 11
Conclusion: don't buy an iPhone 12 if you in want to stay in apple's walled garden. If you want a modern phone with a lot of flexibility buy the OP9.

iPhone 11 vs OP 7T is the correct comparison. And now, I think on iOS 15, the iphones have a lot quicker boot-up time.
Apple is usually about 2 generations ahead of snapdragon. However this really does not translate into a huge difference in day to day use.

Processors are pretty strong.
Thing is if you minimize a app you can feel the butter smooth on iphone but in other Android little bit rough.
