Hello replay burners, I have been following your channel for a little while and I must say I really enjoy watching the games that made me the person I am today. Unfortunately there is one arcade game from back in the days that I am yet to see in your channel. Please help me find this gem because I have been consumed for so many years, in search of such a thing. It's from aroun 1980 - 1985 you are able to choose from tree heroes, and this is the most important part of my recollection. The first character is a eagle with yellow beak wearing a purple outfit and holding a staff with a yellow tip, the second character is a with looking pig holding a trident and the third hero is a monkey, I believe, and the weapon if another staff with half a moon on the tip. As far as the story goes the are going up a tower, jumping/climbing, and defeating their enemies along the way. Theyball had, sort, of "short" baby like look. This game , once again, was on the arcades and this is all I can remember. Thank you in advance and keep on up with this great channel. Cheers
That's China Gate. It's actually from 1988, but it's certainly marked of the mid-80s era. Also, It's not a bird, it's a Kappa. It's loosely based on the old story, "Journey to the West." They actually DO have several playthroughs on this channel, both under the name China Gate and under its Japanese name, "Sai Yu Gou Ma Roku."

It is hard to say, how much of a burden you have lifted off my back, and I am now able to understand, more, about who and how I came to be the person I am today. Had an arcade cabinet of this at the office of my old dentist. This brings back a lot of memories indeed.

高校生の時に嵌ったなぁ。1コインクリア出来るようになるまでにかなりお金を使ったゲームです。
このゲームはとにかくアイテムの種類がかなり多いのでまずそれを覚える事から始まる。そしてマジックアイテムの効果も覚える事も重要。
マジックアイテムは取った階と次の階までしか使用出来ない。通常はマジックポーションで進行、ボス戦はガントレットがメイン。
スクロールを取ったら他の物に基本変えない、ペンダントもスコアで妖精が出るので稼ぎには必須。
また時間で体力が減っていくのでスピードも求められ、プレイヤに対して多くの事を求められるゲームでした。
典型的な知識蓄積ゲーで、最初はシーフを仲間にして隠し宝箱の位置を覚え。スクロールみたいな重要アイテムを覚え。体力回復アイテム稼ぎポイントもおさえてゆき、使いやすい仲間をセレクト。一つ一つ知識を積み上げてゴールに手が届くって感じですね。むろんスコア稼ぎになるとハサミでわざと仲間ロスしたりと小ネタはまだまだ続くんですがｗ でも一番有名なのは「妖精をシバいて食料をもう一つ貰う」ですよねー。動画でもバッチリやってくれてて、本当に懐かしいです
素晴らしい‼️です。初めてエンディング見ました。
このアイテム取得音だけで興奮出来ますね...
100円握り締めて店先の台に向かった日を思い出します
