I think I’d like to see it when the client has their own stuff up instead of the staged version. A lot of times these neutral pallets can feel sterile or, at the most, well shopped instead of time collected and personal.
This is so well done. This is what I would love my space to look like. Calm, light, stylish, well thought out. If I were the client I would love it, too!
The design featured in these H&H homes is always first rate, and I know that the colour schemes are the clients’ preferences, but they begin to all blend into one as the colours are all so neutral, and dare I say bland. This is a beautiful home, but I wish we could see more designers - and clients, who aren’t afraid of colour - strong colour!
Pretty, light & airy :) Funny what goes away & comes back. See thru entry dividers, namely. Often rounded colonial spindles, ripped out during every reno the past 2 decades. And some similar squared spindle partitions, too, Popular in angular modern cedar homes built in the 70's-80's. (Our 1960s apartment had an entry partition. A tall wood-framed panel made of semi-opaque olive green plastic embossed with 3" concentric circles. It matched our dark olive green sofa & limey olive green carpeting. To this day, I can't stand olive green color in my home. Unless it's a houseplant.)
Most of this is inoffensive and pleasant, but the side tables and lamps by the living room sofa are vastly under scaled. That was a good solution for the dysfunctional bedroom and its awkwardly placed windows.
@@fiddlersthree8463 Yes, that was the first thought. But a strange place for ventilation. There were also ideas that sockets and switches were hidden there. Or other communications.
Some nice ideas, but what's with all the boucle? All I think of when I see boucle is that ugly wool boucle Christmas dress my mom made for me in 1967 that itched like crazy and gave me rashes. Not a fan.
I love this channel and this is beautiful but it does not have a European feel it has the same old, beige white gray feel interior design is a great career but these modern day interior designers need to do more color instead of neutral all the time not crazy colors but color and the kitchen is not updated just some different chairs that’s all🤣
@JessicaMargaretDean I have to agree. A video doesn't necessarily give the true feel. But my thoughts were • too many chairs and stools in the Living/Dining area • Off-white sofa with a young child. Likely to have washable covers, but still 😕 • way too many cushions on sofa and bed • I didn't get any sense that the age and style of the bungalow was reflected here • a tick for the lighting - some very stylish pieces chosen
I hate this designer "staging" in these homes! I know they aren't showering with a huge glass vase of sticks. Just show us homes designed for real people to live and use. Also...nothing is "timeless."
Ok….this in no way looks European. It looks like everything else at the moment. No personality…..tells us nothing about the owners……. It looks great…..just….seen it all before a hundred times… bored. The designer did a great job and I am sure she 100% delivered what the owners wanted. Just that the owners wanted what EVERYONE else is doing. I feel sorry for the designer….they must be thinking “Not again!” 😂😂
This is so beautiful, especially the light fixtures!!
Beautiful. Classic and calming and 100 times better than how it started. Love the texture and curves.
Love this! A beautiful, compact home with lots of style.

The bathroom is unrecognizable from before. Great design
Love it!! I like the archway in the dining room and what they did with the bedroom.

The transformation doesn't look so clean only but also luxurious in ambiance, concept and entire style. ✨😉
I, absolutely love this beautiful design ❤
Love this house!

Beautiful design and color pallets , well done.
wow, such a beautiful use of space!
Hermosos espacios!! color, amplitud y diseño🤩
It would be amazing to know the total cost of the renovation at the end of these videos.
A very calming decor but I wouldn’t describe it as European nor Spanish. She also mentions west coast maybe that sounds more like it.
What a transformation of a bungalow! May I ask what colour white paint is the main living space?
Hmmm. Feel like a déjà vu.. either i already see this video or it looks like other appart

How do they clean behind that bath tub?
@voolforyou I'm going to go with their Home Cleaning Service for that job 😉
Does anyone recognize or have a source for the brass curtain tracks?
I came down here just to find out too!
4:00 Hello! Can you please tell me what is that on the floor next to the door? Black rectangle...
I noticed that, too. I'm guessing maybe a heating vent??

Pretty basic. I don’t see anything European nor fun.
Way too many pillows on the couch. How are you supposed to sit on it?
Paint-by-numbers design that anyone with TikTok can do.
Incredibly muted, boring, lacking color and any sense of design uniqueness.

The kitchen and front foyer is the best part of this renovation. Not a fan of the furniture style.

It’s pretty but feels overstuffed and crowded to me.

What do they actually mean when they say "European" 😂

When are you going to listen!!!!!!!! We don’t like the content anymore!!!!
Probably the worst reno I've seeen so far...
Incredibly boring!
🥱Like most renos before it on this channel -- ho hum, bowl-of-oatmeal, bland, show-room, no personal character, and are we still doing bouclé?
Here's an idea, find another channel if this isn't to your taste, instead of bitching and moaning about it
