I had fun utilizing your ideas with my kids today. Something neat we discovered: since I didn’t have a spray bottle at hand with water, I substituted with spray bottle of hypochlorous acid that also contained saline. Interesting results after my son saturated and lightly sprayed sections of his watercolor with it and it had dried. It created large and small blooms.
After watching this video of yours in full, I am still painting with the traditional method, or in other words, the simpler method. The enlightenment you gave me is that when I start painting, I can use more of your methods. There will be more uncertainty in this way, so that the picture can change from a simple brushstroke effect to a more picture quality.
I've just discovered you and have ordered your mini course with the moon over the mountains with texture. I'm excited to watch you from start to finish.

Some great ideas that I will definitely try. I recently bought some stencil brushes and find that I like them for spattering better than a toothbrush. And the first time I used cling wrap (after watching one of your videos) I was blown away by the incredible results I got! Thanks for all your wonderful tips.

@@JeanLurssen If you want to try it out: I like mixing some clays, sands, micas etc with clear watercolor base (water, gum arabic, honey) to create some earthy structure. So much fun experimenting!

Great video - thank you!! Loved to see all your paintings... I use Bruscho all the time, but also I find them a bit too bright. That´s why I was so pleased to find out there is another brand, Infusions - exactly the same as Bruscho but with walnut pgiments and a brown undertone - LOVE them. Just a tip for you :)
