There's little in the volleyball that surprises me less than Bruno pushing an impossible incredibly fast ball to Lucas. It's amazing, it's borderline black magic, it probably cost both their souls for making a deal with the devil, but it's not surprising.

There's at least 3-4 setters I've played with with whom I've done similar stuff as go-to hitter from the middle and I'm 30cm smaller than Lucas and have to jump. Jumping adds complication to timing and you have to go around back to the 3m line every time. Of course my opponents were also a lot smaller and less capable of what Lucas faces. Lucas can easily hit those from a standing jump and since the ball doesn't need to travel more than a meter or two there isn't really all that much that can go wrong with the set. So as long as the setter knows the middle will be there and the block isn't 100% committed to shutting down the middle, these are fairly low risk, especially if not used excessively. Still bloody beautiful, though.

I play a lot of volleyball with my friends and some of them watch haikyuu but one day i watch a Yuji Nishida video and I was just impressed with his play style, but after I watch haikyuu I've started to understand the different positions in the game and that's what got me to watch this video and admire the magic behind every kill lol
