Often wandered how the wheels are attached. Interesting video George be great to see her back in action along with the TW30. If you need a camera man on that occasion I'm free...😂
Great video George, must be nice to have mates like Darren - you couldn’t have done a job like that without assistance. As for the wedges holding the back wheels on it dates back to the old Standard Fordson tractor although they were not split wedges.
Great video again George. Always wondered how those "big tractor" stub axle wheel fittings worked. Always looked like it would slip in the wheel centre! Now I know! 👌👍
Good work George , thats a heavy old wheel, thanks to Darren for his top skills, i was thinking about your repairs , i was lucky as i could call the mobile mechanic ,but that costs a lot in 2023 as do vets. loving the channel and looking forward to the Fastrac coming home..😀
Monster the mighty TW you can't beat it George no doubt about it..... Keep her out on the yard ready for action no doubt about it she is way better than the Fastrack always will be!!!!!!!
Well done boys, teamwork makes the dream work 👍 and I also learned a few things along the way. I would say go and put your feet up but I’m sure there are a mountain of other jobs to crack on with
Glad to see it all back together and working finally. Anyone know the technical reason for using the wedge lock system over a traditional hub flange with nuts or bolts, other than adjustable track width?
Glad you have the old girl up and running again George. If you ever have to take the wheel off again, maybe use a silage bale handler (the two roller type) at least you can rotate the wheel 👍
Darren is not only a fine mechanic but also a good friend as well. It was clear he enjoyed helping his friend George. The Mucker & Fud Weasel relationship is a bit more cantankerous, or so it appears on camera.
GeorgebYou should check out @Boehm Farm for some occasional Ford TW25 action (chisel ploughing this week). Interesting character with dry sense of humour.
I'm not sure if it's a channel you watch George, but.. If you want to see what can go wrong with them type of wheels have a look for a channel called Farming Fixing & Fabricating, Andy who runs the channel recently put a video up of him nearly losing a wheel off that type of hub...
Hi George, So nice to see the old lady back all the best to you George 👍👍 🚜🚜 💥
Good to see the old TW back in action again George. I can never quite understand why Ford stopped making tractors.
You should have put one of the release bolts back in the rim to hold the wedge back. Then just put a tapered shim in on the other one to keep it out.
Great to see the TW back on the road!!! She is ready to work again!

Mighty job George and Darren, full of the pipe for the summer👌👍🙏😎

Nice one George. Great to see the old girl back on her rubber. Bring on the work.

Try a dab of your good ladies coloured nail varnish on bolt and hub to show any loosening of bolts. Good to see your pride and joy back on 4 legs.
Good to have old girl back up and running George 👍👍🚜

Nice to see her back together again 👍 everything seems to take longer than you think unless it’s in a fully stocked workshop lol
Great to see it fixed, no worries if it takes some time fixing ut, the important thing is to fix it and make it right the first time :)
Nice work guys.. Nice to see her back together again... Take care to you both...
Good video George nice to see the tw finished 👍👍👍

Glad to see it all back together and working finally.

Just a brilliant informative and entertaining video, hope people realise the skill involved in filming and producing all this.
Cheers buh 👍
Nice work George, lovely to hear the TW running again?
When tractors sounded like tractors, listen to that engine purr 😍
Glad you got the TW sorted👍she's ready for road again 🚜
Best of luck with everything on the farm 👍👍
Well done George ( + Darren) Long job for one stud but I guess you're happy. Hate handling wheels - bloody cumbersome sods.
Good Job Done There George & Darren👍👍 Thanks again
Great to see her back in action again George 🤠
Tw-25 is alive 😊😊 Yes love that tractor ❤

Well done lads good work 👌🏻

I did think that would be perfect, but we didn't have one to hand
@@GeorgeSaunders two bits of plastic drain culvert over the pallet forks next time then 😂

Great Video, interesting system! thanks for sharing
The old tw25 on our farm the wheels are seized on can't get them off for anything
Was that a jcb sprayer in background
Hallo george Nice to See the tw is back for the next work. Is this the place where do you tested the rtk
Yes Sven and where we had the Dyno day 👍
Hallo george many thank for your answer
good to see her sorted
Top job as usual george, 👌👏👍
Fordson N had cone fixed wheels, so guess if it was good enough for them, why change it... .

Awesome mate, well done
Great job!
now for the JCB
The poor JCB Telehandler in the video could use some new shoes, desperately. The cobbler's child is always bare foot.
Correct, they can be a right pain in the ass 😮😂... but when they are free, they are great... 😅.. stay safe, sir 🏴
👍👌
