Howdy! I'm a good ol' Colorado boy and outdoor enthusiast. I came across your adventures while geeking out on outdoor TH-cam videos. So I binged watched for a week before bed. It made me smile what y'all call mountains 😁 Being in the middle of the Rockies in which Colorado has 52 peaks over 14,000 feet. Anyway I'm rambling. Do you know of the Colorado Trail and do you have any aspirations of tackling it? Congratulations on your AT accomplishment! I never heard of it until I read A Walk In The Woods in 08! So that's on my to do list. You're truly an inspirational woman and a beautiful person inside & out! Keep up the good work, cheers! ~Oak
Hey there. thank you! I lived in Colorado for a while, so yes I am familiar with the Rockies. Love it out there :) No aspirations for the Colorado Trail, necessarily, but the CDT is on my list for after the PCT!
Ya I kinda felt silly after I posted. I listened to your tough girl interview and discovered you'd lived in CO! And the fact the CO trail isn't even 1/4 of the AT, thought you may have already tackled it! 😉
God, those beers must taste great after a hard day on the trail. You are making me want this trip more and more! I have several questions that nobody has asked yet: 1) Any trail romance potential with anyone? 2) What about boyfriends in your normal life? [ I know you mentioned someone back around Colorado, but have heard nothing updated.] 2) Any pink blazing? 3) I know Rigga hooked up with Corey, but how did that end up post trail? 4) What & when is your next hike?
