Love the video (as well as the teas I'm enjoying from my first order from you! So elegant!) - I surely wish we had the wild roses and others with the beautiful rose hips where I live!
Love this! I discovered wild roses were growing on our property that my husband and I moved into last year, and I was able to harvest my first rose hips this year! They are small ones compared to the large size you have growing, but I am hoping I can help the roses thrive and produce. Do you happen to have any tips you can share on how to care for them?
Ours are quite large. It depends on the type of roses you grow and how you are trimming them so they can keep blooming. Here is my blog post about it www.growcreatesip.com/blog/types-of-rose-hips-do-all-roses-produce-hips
Hello Ceanne, loved the video. What kind of vinegar did you use for rosehip infused vinegar... regular... white wine vinegar...? I gather the rose hips from our rugosa rose hedge. I dry them for teas and also add water to them, heat them up, mash them, then freeze the liquid I strain to put in our water over Winter. I can get several batches. I love the vinegar idea. I picked some today to make. Thank you. God bless. PS. I've got my fire cider brewing.
What type of rose variety do you grow to have these large hips? My wild rose makes tiny hips. Is the large variety the Angelina one? I would be grateful to know the name as I would like to place an order for this type of large rose hip carrying bush. Thank you
Thanks for the reminder that I need to go harvest my rose hips!
I'm so glad it inspired you to go harvest yours!

My rose hips never look that size. I have wild roses on our land they are like peppercorns. How do you get large rose hips?

Hello! I'm so happy to hear that you loved it and have your Fire Cider brewing. I use white vinegar to make the infused vinegar.
How you clean your rose hips I mean tiny little hairs inside rosehips
I dried mine whole so I wasn't worried about the hairs. They should just rub off
