Um, this new format is way too distracting and annoying. Im looking at the video and dont really want to see someone flying around the screen like someone from the 90s figuring out what they can do in a PowerPoint presentation.

I agree. I gave up on the video pretty quickly, with videos like this you want to see the character at hand. Fair play to you for experimenting, but I hope you switch back to how things were.

Yea, it is very distracting to see someone flying around like they are discovering what they can do in a Powerpoint presentation. Im glad there is no cussing, but this is not very professional.
This feels like videos from the early 2000s where you use *WACKY* reactions during the descriptions.

I was hoping Sonic joining Smash would take the#1 spot, because I used to play as him in Brawl all the time.

I think because he's been a regular since Brawl he isn't really much of a guest character anymore
@@silentclaw6439 That terrible moveset includes moves from Sonic's source material up until Sonic '06, even including a few moves from Sonic the Fighters.
I still don't know why Sakurai chose two of Sonic's special moves to be Spin Dashes, but it is what it is.
He had terrible b special but he was cool

Of the three bonus characters in SC2, Link is the best-Heihachi (PS2 version guest character) is only effective when he’s really up close to a foe, and Spawn (XBox version guest character) is super clunky.
Link is none of that-he’s a solid character who’s fairly good at everything!
I like playing as Sonic in Brawl. I hope Tekken 8 gets some new guest characters as DLC in the future.
That is what I also hope. I mean they have new characters, but it feels like, guest characters are a piece of the past.(Which don't mean, that they don't exist anymore)

Mai shiranui was already in DOA5 and 2B is in soul Calibur 6
Mai Shiranui was such a perfect guest in Dead or Alive 5 that they immediately brought her back in DoA6. Hopefully, they also get Morrigan Aensland in the future.
If Bandai Namco adds Guest Character DLC to Tekken 8, there’s many guest characters I thought of (Kasumi, Sandy Cheeks, Kamen Rider), but the 2 big ones I thought of who would definitely duke it out are either Millie from Helluva Boss or Alastor from Hazbin Hotel VS. Dante from Devil May Cry.
Sora. Literally broke the internet when his reveal trailer hit. The most requested guest character they wanted in smash bros. Norimaru in marvel vs Street fighters. Gon in tekken 3. The ninja turtles in Injustice 2 & brawlhala. Akuma in Tekken 7.
If it wasn't for Link, I never would've heard of Soul Calibur. The Gamecube isn't well known for its fighting games
if you ask me sora in ultimate was more hype than sonic in brawl. all the legal stuff that nintendo and sakurai went through with disney and square enix was a nightmare. all that stuff makes him more hype in my opinion

Top 20 Ratchet and Clank Weapons
Morph Weapons.
One of my favourite across the series. Kind of ironic in Up Your Arsenal. Complaining about the Biobliterator turning organics into robots...whilst simultaneously turning sentient robots into ducks 😂

A deep cut choice that’s under the radar is Akira Toriyama’s cameo (Tori-Bot/Tori Robot) was a secret Character in Tobal No. 1, a fighting game by Then Squaresoft and Dream Factory.
A few things I should point out.
1. It should be pointed out that the Akaneia Build has modded Sonic into Melee, and they did a damn good job with him too.
2. Sonic was also a guest character in Fighting Vipers (alongside Tails), though that wasn't discovered until YEARS LATER.
3. Staying on Fighting Vipers characters for a bit, Honey actually appeared in Sonic the Fighters herself!
4. Fighters Megamix has some of the weirdest guest characters you can imagine. Bark and Bean from Sonic the Fighters appear, but then you have the kid versions of Akira Yuki and Sarah Bryant, along with the Hornet from Daytona USA.
5. Barney the Dinosaur was in a fighting game, apparently! The game in question? Xenophage: Alien Bloodsport.
6. Tifa Lockhart, Vincent Valentine, Yuffie Kisaragi, Zack Fair and Sephiroth are also in Ehrgeiz! However, the latter four are only in the PS1 release.
7. Earthworm Jim was also in Clay Fighter 63 1/3.

…That being said, I absolutely agree-of the three bonus characters in SoulCalibur II, Link is the absolute best!!!
And certainly the best guest character in a fighting game EVER!!!
Also, I’m surprised that Yoda (SoulCalibur IV) didn’t make this list-a fantastic, albeit broken, addition to the lineup of that game, he is!

In Smash Ultimate (and also, I think, in Smash 3DS and Smash WiiU), Sonic actually takes damage when he’s in a body of water.
Also, may I please make a statement?
If a character appears in at least three games in one game series, I don’t think that character is a guest character anymore-at that point, IMO, they are essentially full-blown members of the main roster.
Fun Fact:
Capcom rejected the invitation of NeatherRealm to borrow Akuma as a playable DLC Kombatant for Mortal Kombat 11, Yoshinori Ono was the only one who accepted the invitation. (Capcom would rather accept Akuma in 鉄拳TEKKEN 7)
It is interesting that Kratos and Spawn have appeared in Spul Calibur and Mortal Kombat.
My Favourite Guest Characters is Omni-Man and Peacemaker in Mortal Kombat 1 and I am looking forward to Homelander in Mortal Kombat 1 and I will find out soon enough if there will be a Homelander Teaser to find out if Antony Starr will voice Homelander in Mortal Kombat 1 He is probably trolling us or probably doing a Andrew Garfield Situation and I will never give up never
While Tekken and Soul Calibur are sisters' games Soul Calibur is the better game for guest characters not to mention guest characters non cannon stories can be much better intertwined with the story arc of Soul Calibur.

I like how Link also has most of his Smash moves in SC2.
And use the classic n64 design becuse wind waker was a game lunch for the gamecube and was not the game the fans want so link still use the n64 design

I was hoping Iori Yagami would appear in the list cause he appeared in a fighting game called Million Arthur Arcana Blood made by Square Enix. I was mind blown he was in a game made by Square Enix, the company that made amazing games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, for example. I'm curious, why did they add him?
My personal favorites are Sonic's appearance in Super Smash Bros Brawl and Link's in Soul Calibur 2(GameCube Version). Sonic pulls a "hero showing up at the last second" stunt in Brawl's "Subspace Emissary" with its final boss. Link's guest appearance in Soul Calibur 2 predictably puts him in the "hero's camp" of the roster, having him cross worlds to deal with Soul Edge. Appearance in said guest appearance was that of his Ocarina of Time incarnation as an adult. Most of his bio is, regrettably, omitted. No mention of the parents or even his age, which is 17.
seriously? Spongebob is on the list but no mention of Hellboy & the TMNT in Injustice 2? Sonic in Brawl gets a mention but Smash overall isn't included with the Soul Calibur & MK franchises?
Link in Soul Calibur II at #1 is well deserved though. Still have my copy of the game purely so I can play as Link again if & when I feel like it

It’s unfortunate that Lars didn’t get a proper dubbing in Naruto. That made his voice stick out like a soar thumb when playing in English.
Yet another sign of how lazy Namco are in dubbing.
Sonic in smash - he's actually got one of the shortest swimming speeds, so he will drown rather quickly actually

Funny enough, Lars being added to Storm 2 is what got me into the Tekken series.
He was a lot of fun to play as in that game.
Let's not forget Godzilla along with Ultraman were guest characters in Gigabash.

Here's an honorable mention: Godzilla and Ultraman, along with 8 other kaiju (4 of each) from their respected franchises, are playable guest fighters in the indie kaiju fighting game Gigabash. So yes, for the 1st time in gaming, we get to see radioactive fire-breathing dinosaur fight the intergalactic alien kyodai hero on screen. 👽🦖
